Title: Borg Meister
Post by: TeaLeaf on September 21, 2003, 08:59:25 AM
Well, after a storming start by our first Borg Meister, OldBloke, who put together a hive of 8 CPUs that were folding for him, we now have a new Borg Meister.

Borg Meister Stryker is now at the helm of the collective with 11 CPUs folding for him.  Stryker's hive may not have the fastest CPUs in the world, but they are beavering away for him 24/7, to the extent that he will probably take 2nd spot in the team within the week.

OldBloke will stay out of reach for some time yet due to his impressive points lead, but Stryker's points per day is increasing all the time and is currently at about 300 points per day and rising.  Oldbloke with his faster but fewer processors is currently folding at about 450 points per day, so that's your target Stryker.

:worship: Bow down to our Borg Meister Stryker peeps :worship:

I've got two CPU's in two different machines working, but it only shows up in my folding history as one, weird eh?

Did you install it from the same software download?  I heard that this may give it the same CPU number.  I'll try to research it and post something up to help solve the problem.

I used a different installer on each PC. The regular version wouldn't install on this PC, so i'm running the beta version. The other machine is running the regular version.

Both CPU's are AMD, but mine is an Athlon XP, the other one is a Duron.

I appear to have even the mighty TeaLeaf stumped ;)
