I need a recommendation for a better wireless solution for my desktop. USB or PCI, preferrably not expensive, and I am not concerned with "wireless N" abilities as my router only does b and g. Must have good drivers for 64 bit vista...
I've been using a BT Voyager 1055 USB dongle for some time and it has these periods when it'll just keep failing to connect and generally being a pita. It also has a tendancy to flake out when required to stream stuff for any length of time. Pretty sure it's the weakest link as the netbook doesn't seem to have any trouble with the same wireless router...
Thanks!
I personally prefer PCI as my experiences with USB hasn't been great (similar to your problems).
As for what make etc, again from a personal point of view I would stay clear of Belkin. I like D-link and Netgear don't know about others here on dMw though?
