I don't live in Londonia, but it's only a 40minute ride on the Choo Choo.

Depending on the date/time and if I'm on-call or not, I'd be up for it.

Sounds good. There are 'some' vegetarian options for Mr Smilo and co, but may not be enough. http://www.thebountifulcow.co.uk/bountiful_cow_website_3_003.htm

There's a good cheap Thai called Brown Sugar nearby

with 120 different beers to pick from. should be good.

Albannach (Trafalgar Square) with 200 whiskys to pick from.

As for food. where are we thinking about eating. The eagle Farringdon is good. and near the griffen to end the night:woot2:

There's a lot of commute in between those three...if people want the Griff stay in Holborn, otherwise the first or second.

Personally Holborn or Russell Square area hits the mark.........

Make your choice people.

Sorry chaps I may have to bail too.

Kids have got something called 'slapped cheek' syndrome so are full of temperature, sore throats, upset stomachs etc (oh the joy).

Not heard of it before  (although they often get 'slapped arse' syndrome :flirty:).

Anyway I'll know more later but if they're still bad tonight it'd be unfair to leave Mrs P tending the twins on her tod.

I'll be there at about 6:10. Seems as good a place as any to meet.

I'm a little stuck baby6 sitter wise so may need to bail at about 10, but we'll see.

PM's going out now.

Sadly I'm out as well. I've family over at the moment. They were going home today but new plans mean they're staying another 24 hours and I'm playing host tonight.

Have a blast and enjoy all that filthy evil meat/flesh stuff.

Post by: Benny on December 14, 2009, 11:37:32 AM
So, Zoot, me, Spud and Tut.

I know Tut was planning on coming in from Cambridge which seems a bit excessive for a gathering of 3 others.

Spud, not sure where you are coming in from......

I'd suggest that we scheduled something new year for a group cheer up during the suicide month of January.

In the interim, I'll still be at the 'Cow' at 6pm for a couple of pints and a slice of flesh.
Title: dMw Xmas
Post by: Tutonic on December 14, 2009, 11:46:34 AM
To be honest, I'd rather save my Ã,£20 and come down in the new year for a bigger gathering...

I'm on holiday from the 5th to 16th, but apart from that any time is good really.

The last time I went clubbing was about 13 years ago in club Kenetic, Stoke. Sweat was dripping from the roof, people wore bright yellow tops and there wasn't any beer for sale.

Never again!

Comfy seat and a pint of real ale for me please!

It'll be hard for me, I'm in Reading at the moment, occasionally Oxford and more occasionally Wellingborough. Let me know the date and I'll try. A lot will depend on the day, I have some restructuring to do, so it's all a bit touch and go.
