I imagine Lastpass Bob is a Lastpass employee who must have found us via a clever google search for 'lastpass'.
I don't think his post qualifies as spam as it's related to my original post, is actually informative and maybe of use to forum members. So I think it's best to leave it alone. Of course if Lastpass start using this forum as some sort of advertising medium (which I doubt they will) we might need to take some action.
although what he posted is good info, what i would now do is look at their website and see if they are quoting "As used by the british gaming clan Dean men Walking", i would but im in work, anyone else got a spare 1/2 hour
Sadly not. They seem happier quoting endorsements from Fox News, Znet and PCWorld :)
It seemed like a genuine person writing I agree, however that's only one step higher than spam bot - thankfully, as you've pointed out there was some information provided. Although when I followed the link there was no way that I could see to take action on the "Grid Multifactor Authentication".
In other words, nothing on that page, no link to click to start the process or whatever...
Tbh I was quite pleased to be informed of this and might go try it out. Fair enough post.
Jabbs,
Hmm the link takes me straight to the grid page? maybe you need to check it again?

It does, but how do you get your grid and so on? Yes, it's the grid page and while it explains very well, it doesn't tell you (or give you a link) to how you get your own grid?
Ah sorry. You need to go into your Lastpass settings (not preferences) and click the 'security tab'.
You can print the grid from there.
Settings .... hmmmmm :g:
