Title: Holiday LFS
Post by: Jamin on December 19, 2009, 10:10:14 PM
As the hour race lands on crimbo eve and new years eve, we (or the few left on vent after thursdays race) decided that the next combo of FO8 @ aston somewhere will start in the new year. So until then we have rallyx (I didn't choose) until wednesday evening when for the first time and for one night only we'll have a drag racing night on the eight lane track. The cars will be changed every half hour or so and Airio will show us the times in each car.

Bring your own bleach for the burnouts :thumb:

Any suggestions for combos from thursday onwards can be put in here also, else I choose random ones for the week

Sounds like fun :D
Can we organise it as a championship as the points for the last race of the year will go begging? It wont affect the years championship as Venca has that place with Dee a very close second. http://lfs.deadmen.co.uk/combostats/index.asp
Or perhaps we use the rallyX series points to finish it off.

Reminder to Oldie, we need a new chart for next year please.

My thanks. 'Lily Savage' BTW is not a scouser, but comes from the one eyed city, as does the best band with the most amusing lyrics. Half Man Half Biscuit.

eg:
Have you ever wondered how you get triangles from a cow?
You need butter, milk and cheese,
and an equilateral chainsaw.
[from '99% of Gargoyles Look Like Bob Todd']

Time flies by when you're the driver of a train,
Speeding out of Trumpton with a cargo of cocaine.
Under bridges, over bridges, to our destination.
Careful with that spliff, Eugene, it causes condensation
[from 'Time Flies By']

There's no better way of spending Xmas, Nice malt and a singalong :D

Hi Todd, we used to do team racing on a Sunday but that faded away, it's just a normal night now.

Do I detect strains of Pink floyds ummagumma ( or something like that)  as in " Be careful with that axe Eugene"?
