In my oppinion L4D2 is far supperior to the original, but it seems that it is very hard to get players from the dmw community to participate in L4D2 games.
I remember the nights where you had to wait forever to even get a spot on the L4D server just so you could play.
I am wondering what the reason for this "lack of interest" might be. Do people feel that the game was rushed or feel cheated that the new stuff isn't free?
This is by no means a rant but I am just trying to figure out why this game gets less interest from players and what might need to be done to spark interest again.
That said we had some amazing versus games last night and it was fun as ever :)

L4D 1 was slow to take off as a dmw game too. It's also now reached "Add-on" price territory. Ã,£15-20 for a game is reasonable, even if you have the original.
The last few nights have seen very healthy turn outs, I've no doubt that more people will start getting into it very soon.
If you're reading this thinking "I'm holding out till more people play it" or "I'm waiting for the right price", don't worry, there are enough people we can fill a vs server regularly and the price is pretty good for a new game. The original still sells for Ã,£15 on Play.
(If you're thinking "I've got enough games", you're wrong, you can never have too many.)
To be honest most of us play around 8pm+ most nights, there are around 10+ casual players so you can get either a 4/8 player game going.
I still find the versus games of L4D 1 a lot better then 2.
LFD2 is better on paper, but I don't know, LFD was more exciting to play.
As for no games, if I see them and I have time I join, but unfortunately thats not always the case :(
Well, L4D2 was well and truly used and abused tonight.
I doubt it will be able to walk straight for weeks.
It might not be true love, but she's a game old bird is our L4D2.
Gotta say I'm in the L4D2 camp as well.
It's L4D with knobs on, depending if Benny and Oldie can play anyhow.
