Title: Raiding Attendance and Performance
Post by: Tanales on December 27, 2009, 10:50:09 PM
So a few of us raided with Eluo tonight, got to see how the bosses worked and what tactics they used. And ive got a few suggestions on how to reach thier level when it comes to raiding.

1) Leaders need to have a look at attendance and recruit more accordingly.

2) We should do ICC 10 regularly on a raidday to gear up and get familiar with the fights, once we got ICC 10 on farm we could do some ToGC25 on that day, cause i know several who could use upgrades from there.

3) All of us needs to take a look at spellrotations and try get all the upgrades to gear we can get our hands on, and just try harder overall.

Theres a big reason for this, the DPS need to pump out somewhere between 5.5k-6.5k each depending on how many DPSers we have, on Deathbringer saurfang 25 man.

Just my thoughts
Tan.

totally agreed with, I'd just appreciate doing TOTGC25 as it still represents a huge challenge in game and the upgrades are some of the most balanced resto gear in game :)

It would help also w/ badges for gear. Spes after more wings will unlock. Tan is right thou, at the moment we do not have the DPS to do some of the later fights in the first wing, and TOC25HC and ICC10 will help us gear up faster then our current raid scedual.

ICC10/25 helps with the badges of course, but I have many alts now with over 50 Emblems of Frost each, that's just from running the daily and the weekly raid quests.  They are also worth putting a little time into each day.

I don't want to sound harsh in any way, or even less unfriendly, but this topic was kinda discussed some time ago. For those who don't remember it (and this is just a summary), it was Gandalf opening the discussion under some officers/guildies suggestion to push people with the raiding status in upgrade their gear/gameplay as it would fit a raid player willing to support the guild in the end game content, including but not limiting to asking for suggestions, follow discussions on forums (not only this one, but for example the class forums on the elitist jerks forum (http://elitistjerks.com/f31/) are a good start), and so on.
