I would like you Android users to try this app out. It does a lot of things, but I enjoy this:
- you can have all your texts, including MMS, sent to your email, as they arrive
- you can send texts by emailing from the pc - the program on the phone will look for specific subject (they also have additional options for the subject). Type "sms:" or "sms:" in the subject and the phone, when checking the mail, will know what to do.
- you can have it email you each photo you take (backup fx)
I am very pleased with it :) If I forget the phone I can still send and receive texts and receive MMS. Also, if I am in front of the PC, I can type using the PC keyboard instead.
It adds a service on the phone. It requires IMAP (like fx gmail has). Give it a go on the android market. Free version only allows receiving.
Sounds like a really smart app :) Couldn't find it when I searched for it on my phone though (tried both "sms to mailbox" and only "sms", but no luck). Might not be available in Norway?
Have you by the way gotten access to paid apps in Denmark yet, or have you hacked your way around it?

It is only available in DK in the free version.
