At one end we are 4 people around a laptop. We need a better mic. Something like the one Skype endorses (http://shop.skype.com/intl/da/phones/yamaha-usb-microphone-speaker-psg-01s.html#a1Tab), but it costs 1500 DKK (~Ã,£180) which is ridiculous.
I guess as long as it is omnidirectional, we are good? I have only found one here in DK... any good ideas?
The only thing I could find is this:

(not used it myself)
I have used skype for 1 to 1 calls and the quality is not as good as a standard phone line anyway, so IMO I don't think you will benefit too much by spending lots of money, although I could very well be wrong :g:

So far the sound quality has been fine, we use it all the time. Problem is, as I said, for the meetings, the speaker and mic in a laptop is crap :) I will try the one you found, cheers :D
Sorry, we've only ever used things like this:

Not cheap but it can be hooked through a skype box (Ã,£7) to use on Skype.
