Ok, so this is fairly straightforward in principle (and was with L4D2).
A 4 pack of the game is ~Ã,£80 (making it ~Ã,£20 per person) and comes with the original too.
Is there anyone else here that sort of wants to check this game out...but doesn't really fancy Ã,£27?
Might be worth putting your name down here if you're interested.
I'm certainly interested in sharing that 4-pack. as for me it normally is 20 euros for part 1 and 45 (with discount) for part 2 :) or the 4-pack is in euros 134,97 :S
So add me to the "list" please :)
if you need my account name, its Luminance87
I am tempted.
When the first one came out it was Ã,£54.99 on steam no multiplayer and now its Ã,£27 on steam straight away.
Ã,£20 each is interesting and seeing as its got 90% in Pc Gamer and 93% in psm (i think thats the magazine name) its a solid buy.
I am a bit apprehensive as is it too much of the same.
so this means we now have:
- T-bag
- Lumi
-GhostMjr
:norty:
Right, my brother is in so we have 1 packs worth of people. Now is the time to speak up if you're having second thoughts (won't purchase till I hear from you).
Plus keep this thread alive even if you all want some. I'm pretty sure there's a second packs worth of people around here somewhere at that sort of price.
I'm holding back on Bioshock 2 for now, I thought the first one was a mild dissapointment :(
Where the hell is my System Shock 3, god damnit!
Hated bioshock 1, still havent got round to finishing it. Horses for Courses and all that....
PM send to T-Bag, But just in case:
-=[I'm still interested]=-

My brother let me join his 4 pack with his friends when it seemed it would be hard to get a member to replace ghost.
what a shame :(
So it's released and here's what I think:
from the start you can feel memories coming back from the first game but is it more fun?
Well yes and no.
It feels like you are at the start of bioshock without any weapons it even feels more like an expansion that a full sequel to be perfectly honest.
The VoiceOver actors could have been chosen more wisely and for anyone who has played dead space this game will make u feel that these games have too much in common with the same train tAking you between levels.
It's not worth full price but a snatch when it becomes expansion money.
I think it's a bit of a dissapointment really.
They made you a Big Daddy, but you can still get killed quite easily by Splicers with handguns. Aren't the Daddy's meant to be near-unkillable?
Ah well, an opportunity missed...
I've given it a short go and it's pretty good. For Ã,£20 can't really complain. It seems to be jamming story down my throat a little though. I've hidden the details in the spoiler. If you've played for an hour you're already further than me so won't spoil anything for you, but could have done for anyone yet to play the game.
Ok, I've only played a small amount. Steam says it's somewhere around the 0.6 Hour mark. He's what I think is happening. You're only a big daddy because you can to Rapture looking for your daughter "Eleanor" and the Big Daddy suit plays into that somehow, so you're not properly a big daddy, or you were brainwashed but never properly one. (Explaining why you're so weak).
Something strange is going on with the woman doctor thing, I guess there will be a revelation there about your relationship, and probably some story about Andrew Ryan because he was the star of the last game.
