When, dear God, did we become a compulsory membership community? I speak, of course, with regard to the recent flurry of an uprising where people aren't feeling loved or cherished.
Not one person has 'told' me how to, or indeed commented on, my running of the L4D piece. I am not in the slightest bit concerned by that. I was given the position, I believe, because I made an effort to make it work. The same is true of Arma, and jesus knows what a ******* that is turning into because it really doesn't help it's self. It keeps pulling the drip out and trying to sign itself out of hospital with it's trousers around it's ankles.
Am I really that out of touch, expecting individuals to contribute without being asked? Without permission, without just throwing accusations and questions at the 'senior' guys? Write some copy, review a piece of hardware, play a game and encourage it's growth. Alternatively ignore all of that, play like a twat and then wonder why you aren't an admin. Whinge about content and make damn sure that any posts you write contain lots of smileys and zero content.
I want the site to change but frankly I'm not going to pop a woody if it doesn't. We need to grow and a shop window will change that. Once we're structured, and by Thor I'll wait for Smilo to do his thing with patience as I expect he has a life outside of scratching his arse and wiping up the spit that dribbles from peoples mouths in here, Il'l write some pieces and hope they are good enough to grace our new front page. If they aren't I'll carry on writing in here every time I get my sisters panties in a bunch.
What am I saying? I'm saying that to all of you existing admins and SH's and leaders, I think given some of the baiting you're doing a good job. Don't assume that the vocal minority reflect the thoughts of the silent majority. If you want to move this public, please feel free, however all I can see happening is another torrent of adolescent bile and it means I can't post my inner workings like this from the comfort of my job, where, incidentally I do things every day without my boss having to tell me to...

What I really want to say to KKND is that he was a crap CS admin who regularly made bad decisions and had the most complaints made about him so based on that he'd be a totally crap SH.
