Aside from it being a terrible piece of software, I've finally battled to get all the info etc I need into it. Does anyone know how to make it presentable as a figure to put into a report on an A4 size report.
A Gantt Chart is waaay too big. And it flat out refuses to let you move the network planner around to fit all on one page...
what exactly is the project, if its for a network design id use microsoft viseo, brilliant piece of software lets you design complex plans and stuff simply
yes I'd be interested to know - 20 x A4 pages stuck together with sellotape looks very poor (yet comical) when trying to present to at a meeting...

:withstupid: Been there, done that and been embarrassed so I am also trailing this thread :)
Can echo Vladic there re Visio being superb, but tbh I also find Project pretty good too.
Ok then TL, you seem knowledgeable in these things, so in project, I've input all the resource data and times etc in a Gantt chart, how do I get some sort of presentable output?
Can be critical path diagrams, PET, whatever...
You'll have to ask someone who has Project installed atm, I have not used it for 2-3 years or so, but found it to be excellent. My father is a current user and we discuss and software comes up in discussion, this is one he thinks is excellent too. Atm I have no use for my copy though and the current version sits in its MAP wallet uninstalled. Sorry.
