Well, with the proposed target date for a decision to be made less than 24 hours away I thought in the absence of GM it would be sensible to get a quick vote on whether or not we see BBC2 as viable.

I have added a poll to this, please vote accordingly as to whether or not we should support this game on launch.

Personally I voted yes for these reasons.
-we seem to have a lot of feedback saying it supports excellent teamwork
-it has rewards/unlocks for teamwork (a real bonus)
-numbers seem decent, at least as many as were interested in Arma2 if not more
-if we support the game it would be on a server that is visible in the BBC2 server list so numbers should be higher than just dMw members

If we support the game then we will be in need of a BBC2 Section Head and Game Admins.  That's not essential on launch, but I would suggest we appoint a number of interim admins on launch so that the game is well admin'd from the get-go.

Anyway, over to other folks.  Do we support BBC2 or not?

In the absence of any other votes (GM excepted as he is away), I think the result is we will support it.  We'll sort a server out for a trial period of 3 months and then reassess.  We'll try to sort some details out ASAP for an announcement.

Gratz GM on the first full graduate from the Game Development section!

Great News!

I am pretty proud to see the first graduate of my section :D.

I have a couple of ideas for future "new" games that we can move forward on and I will put these up when i have done a bit more research shortly.

Any input or suggestions always welcomed :)
