Title: connection to game server lost.
Post by: kregoron on March 05, 2010, 11:43:27 AM
Ive was having this issue all of last night, mainly when trying to join a game..
usually took between 10-20 mins just to join a game.

and i know a few others have had the issue. Looks like mine is solved now (keeping fingers crossed)

i just forwarded the following ports on my router to my computer

Port: 80 TCP
 Port: 18121 TCP
 Port: 18126 TCP
 Port: 18126 UDP
 Port: 13505 TCP

which for now seemed to have solved it..
Another solution, tho a bit more drastic, and something id advise not to do, is add the computer to the DMZ list on your route

Or uPnp will do it I'd expect, what router make/ model are you using?

[Scrap that!! uPnp seems to be causing the problem!!]

DMZ = bad, not to be done unless it's a last resort and never permanently.
