With a need for changing my glyphs for tanking, i have played around with talents also, to try and make a bit more effecient build for aoe-tanking raid trash. Worth noticing that i would calim it to work best in raid, due to the more damage a tank takes, and the fact i left out the talents that shaves some rage usage of my offensive abilities.
I know i could have done something different, but would also like to keep deep wounds for single target.

Please do make any comments on it, as i will try it out in next upcoming raid.
whay glyphs ya recomending ?
Just browsing and came across this.
Always find it hard not to comment on the warriors ability to AoE with 5 mages going crazy.
The build I decided on was bringing a paladin tank build with me in raids.
Worked perfectly and I got to keep my build and glyphs as they are
Thanks

well, with currently only one prot paladin in guild, we do sometimes tend to get the odd 10-man with 2 warriors tanking.

Yeah but (in Pies own view) Now i've actually discovered how to keep AoE threat to my highest level it shouldnt be that bad (but in hindsight i havnt done an ICC raid with mal / sheep / Myself (ssh i know) Tan / Dill doing high AoE damage :> )
Btw forgotten, whats the hit cap again?

Hi guys, first time poster here:
I personally believe warriors shouldn't cave into this trend for homogenisation - towards making all tanking specs the same/completely indistinguishable.
If I found myself with 2 warrior tanks I'd adopt a pre-WoTLK approach: clear markings and DPS order, lots of discipline and Crowd Control :)
Tanks shouldn't have to compromise their builds because of lazy, AoE spamming nature of the modern DPSers.
Just my two cents.
Hi Leemo, what's your toon's name on Aszune?
Prot pally, Leemadin:

I have 2 builds - one with the emphasis on threat-per-second for the more trivial bosses/content and the second which leans heavily towards mitigation.
As a prot pally I've always been envious of warrior tanks, in particular their superior array of cooldowns when compared to us Tankadins.
Anytime I have found myself with another warrior tank I usually still encourgae the mages and hunters to go crazy with AoE, they just need to be very quick on ice block. feign death etc.
Only ever have to sacrifice 1 or 2 per pull. They seem to enjoy it, otherwise why would they go AoE crazy, when they could single target nuke for a bit.
Your right to be envious Lee, the main warrior tanking ability of 'charge' just makes them look so cool. Who cares about cooldowns etc when you have that.
Thanks

I feel neglected:crying:
I dont think ANY mage can beat Misdirect + Volley on trash. Mine gives tank 14K threat (modify it with coefficients from stance and talents) in 4 seconds on EACH mob. Now mages gogo crazy AoE.
I dont think AoE build is necessary for trash
