Hi all,
I have a problem at work I am supposed to solve. I have tried but no luck.
The problem is for one individual user to print specific type of content via our wireless network and the wireless printserver.
I have had the same problem, but it went away for some reason.
What happens is that windows says "ok" and the print job disappears, but the printer just goes clonk-clonk, loads paper, then stops.
When it occurred to me, it only involved Word documents. I could then re-save the docs in new versions and it would print them.
My boss who can not print, can print pictures but nothing else.
It is a link DPR 1260 (IIRC) or something like that.
Any ideas? I have been to D-link support and googled a lot and tried stuff but no luck...
So, at present, 10 people can print fine, one cannot with non-pics.
Could it be the 64 bit Win 7 we are using? Only me and the specific boss has had/have the problem and we are the only ones using Win7 64bit (we have some on Vista, some on Win7 32bit)
The driver is installed from the router - you go to it via the wireless network, follows the installation from the router, and you then downloads and installs a driver which is being pushed to you as a download...

Drivers looks like the culprit. Can you source and install the latest drivers manually? You could also compare settings with a 'good' client.
Good luck. Hope you get it sorted so the boss thinks you're a God :D
