This is the most interesting game concept I've seen in a very long time, I can't wait to have a go :)

Beta sign-up (http://www.spyparty.com/beta-sign-up/) open:D
I might sign for the beta/ $15 for something that might never see the light of day is a bit of a gamble but I think these Independent developers deserve support, especially with such a great basic premise.
I've signed up.
Every 'hands on' report I've read has made this game sound incredibly fun, I bet it's a right laugh on a LAN.
It sounds a little like The Ship game.
In which you are a murderer and given a target but you don't know anything about the person or where they are other than their name. So you ask passengers for clues etc and then make the kill away from anyone's site. You can use pretty much any weapon item you find but get bonus scores for using more amusing items, like a frying pan from the main kitchen etc.
During all this other players can play as the law and track down the murders using a similar tactics but of course it is easier if the target has actually completed a successful murder first. While all this is going on there is the security guards and cameras which will arrest any party who commits a serious crime.
"The First Early-Access Beta Invite Is Away" (http://www.spyparty.com/2012/02/16/the-first-early-access-beta-invite-is-away/%20%20%20)
Haven't got my invite yet, anyone else?
It's bed-time for the dev so I'm not expecting anything for the next12 hours, but I'm watching my inbox:woot2:
Still watching my inbox:sad:
I am disappointed to read that CS.GO has abandoned plans (http://www.shacknews.com/article/72724/counter-strike-global-offensive-loses-cross-platform-multiplayer) for it to be cross platform:sad:, which spy party was dependant upon for it to be x platform:sad:
That's a treble disappointment:sad::sad::sad:
My beta invite has arrived!
:)
