I love how neat trailers have become the last 5 years or so :flirty:
Beat me to it, got a email from EA today!
Looks interesting! Although I'm hearing that they are not making it as graphically demanding as the first one
There's a difference between "graphically demanding" and visually pleasing. The first game was terribly optimised, and out done in my opinion by Far Cry 2 and the Stalker series in many ways, both of which were far less graphically demanding but look as good if not better.
It should be good, hopefully it means they've optimised their code, but considering how much emphasis they've put into the console market design elements it may well mean just dumbed down.
I agree on how cool game trailers are becoming. More and more like films. And with games like Heavy Rain, they're becoming similar to play in some instances.
First of all that trailer looks really bad as it seems to be console footage. Check this thread with console SC's of Crysis 2Click (http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=3538455) Do we want the games look like that ?
Or like this(Crysis on pc): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwT8XM0AUPM

I disagree that, Crysis is not optimized bad it just needs LOADS of raw power to run and look sweet. It still can put the computers on their knees when properly tested. In Crysis warhead they optimized it, which cause the overall quality to go down. So it is a matter of opinion, either look bad and run good on all machines or look awesome which causes problems to older computers.
And in the end the CryEngine 3 demo for consoles and PC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDay3GOBdtU
