How about setting the server to Conquest for a bit? The Rush mode gets old after a while, I find. Conquest allows for great teamplay and tactics as well, maybe even more so than Rush mode as there are usually 3 to 4 flagpoints accross the map; you can have several squads moving on several flagpoints simultaneously. In Rush mode most of the action is usually centralized around the M-Com stations.
mixed server ?
mixed servers win!
I don't know how the server is set up but I feel like we are playing the same maps always, might be my bad luck tho. And mixed server would be nice.
Could even try those squad modes ?
Don't think the squad modes would mix well with the 32 player server .

I think the limit is 16 but there are moments when there are only about 16 players or less, so would nice to try them out.
I just looked to see if they've added a new "mixed" mode in Clan Forge and the sever is listed as "inactive" (and not available from inside BC2 either) so I gave it a kick.
Anyway, there are no mixed game modes, so we have a choice of EITHER Rush OR Conquest. Squad Rush might be fun for a change but it supports 8 players details (http://tacticalcombatgamers.com/article146.html) and requires a server restart to move back to the larger play number modes it is not as ideal to start the server up with as one might hope.
We've tried having it in Conquest mode before but it is not as tactical. If they add mixed support we might try that, but given a choice of Rush vs Conquest Rush won out (at least when we first asked) and I'm still of the opinion that it is still the best game mode for us.
Fair enough. Plenty of other servers to play on for me :)

then why are other multiplay customers able to run mixed mode servers... ? isnt it just a case of setting up the mapcycle with both Rush and Conquest maps?
maybe its time to look at a new admin tool, there are several others, BC2CC, BC2 Guardian, Procon.. and yeah im pretty sure both BC2CC and procon works with multiplay servers

This is the options for maps that I get directly through clanforge. BC2 Guardian has the same options in the version I'm using. I'm not on the latest version though in the new features list mixed game modes aren't mentioned. Same story with BC2CC V1.0.
Whether it needs some sort of modification to the server config or similar I'm not sure, but I can't see a way to change the server away from a single game mode.
There are other admin tools that have the ability to run the server in mixed mode. It can be set up to run one rush then one conquest etc. I have sent ghost the details. I have no idea if/ when it will come to bcgaurdian.
Bump :)
