Hi guys,
This is the Resto Shaman I've been mentioning.
An excellent raider and in Ovo he was one of our best progression raiders.
Gear will be an issue with him just hitting 80, however I'll be grinding the heroics with him and boosting through ToC, Ony, VoA etc.
I imagine it'll only take a week at most to get him up to Icc standard.
Just my two cents.
already posted and accepted as social, when he gears up then we can look to move to raider
looking at the logs hes good to go ...
had a quick glance over the log from last night and it look promising, but with current gear level i would reccomend doing the same as we do our other undergeared people keep him at the first 4 bosses for a short time and see how things go from there. just my 2 cents :D
from raid performace and actually doing a couple of raids with kat isee no reason to just keep him/her on first 4 exclusivly, yes could do with some gear but has performed well so far
its what we have been doing with the other undergeared raiders recently.

As far as I know, we haven't been dropping people because of the gear but because of the performance. That is usually the same thing (lowered geared people having lower dps/hps) but what I do from the Melee dps camp is look at who has the lowest dps over the first four bosses before deciding who gets swapped out (also taking class needs into account). If someone with lower level gear is healing better than someone with good gear, we want the better healer with us on the harder bosses (also taking class needs...).
Due to the AOE healing needed in the later wings resto shaman are generally worth more than their gear indicates. Might be worth bearing in mind when considering hwo is in or out if you are looking at maxxing your healing. Being a resto shaman doesn't guarantee a spot, but there's many fights in the wings where they rack up huge healing numbers.
