QuoteHello Jas
I wish to complain about Lee's behaviour during the ICC raid last night.
During the fight with Suarfang, I was put into a DI 'bubble' (although at the time I didn't know that). After the encounter, when I asked in Raid Chat what had happened I was derided because of my lack of knowledge.
Is not part of the social aspect of this guild to facilitate the less experienced members to gain knowledge?
Thanks to Tirk, I now know what happened as he kindly explaiined, although I don't agree with his suggestion that I should whisper someone "more patient" to ask such a question.
Lee's behaviour was highly disrespectful and offensive. This behaviour would be unacceptable from an ordinary member, let alone an officer. He is a disgrace to the Guild to treat anyone in such a manner.
I ask that firm punititive action be taken against him. The most suitable I can think of is an apology on these forums and to demote all his characters to 'Social' from today (Friday) until the next raid reset, being unable to raid or take part in any raid-related activities such as officers meetings. If the apology is not made, he should remain as a Social member until such time as an apology is forthcomming.
What ever action you do or do not take here sets a precident.
Failure to act will give individuals carté blance to say and do anything they want.
Acting to positively discourage this type of behaviour would send a clear message to the less tolerant, elitists in our Guild that this is an inclusive Guild and that all should be treated with respect.
This essentially will set the tone of the future direction of the Guild.
Please don't reply via this message system. Either my suggestion above will be implemented or it will not. I will be able to see your decision by Lee's activities
...after all actions speak louder than words.

aka Treekin, the sorry-ass noob.
My take on it ... I didn't have a problem at all with Lee and any comments made tho I may have missed this one . I think he's doing a great job keeping the raid moving. Gond had a word last night on TS to be a tad more sensitive in his comments and if taken onboard that would be the end of it for me. I'll not be TOLD how to run the guild that's up to us and not just 1 person.
If anyone knows more of what went on let me know as this all seems all rather silly
It is rather silly as you say and I think Rob needs to spend some time looking at boss tactics and raiding in general. I know from first hand experience that the first time you are DI'd it can come as a surprise (Hal can expand on this if he's feeling nasty) but his request is just silly. From what I've seen, he wants to have his hand held and walked through every encounter and we shouldn't need to do that. I see Ame has already posted she is leaving/left and I don't expect Rob to be far behind.

Are you talking about the time I DI'ed you in Ulduar when jim ninjapulled a few mobs and you just stood there looking like a idiot? :yahoo: :roflmao:
ame has said she was leaving in another thred so i have removed her from guild access
I have to be completely honest, the sooner we lose this idiot from the guild the better. We've already lost his other half, we might need to get rid of him before he does some serious damage to this guild.
Lee can be an aquired taste. He does not tolerate fools glady and can be totally singled minded when he is raid leading. He has a long history of upsettting people whilst he was Raid Leader in OVO, the common thread was that most of the people he upsets are the people who are holding us back.
He was our hatchet man in OVO and the list of people he G/Kicked is legenderary. So for god's sake never give the him ability to kick in dMr or you may find that the deadwood are no longer posting on this website as they are no longer in the guild.
What people need to realise is that no one is safe from Lee's acidic comments, me Jas and dare I even say TL if he ever did something noobish in a raid that lee was running, these comments are not personal they are just lee venting frustrations about peoples lack of knowledge / unpreparedness / not following instructions etc.
The fact that someone can reach level 80 and be raiding ICC 25 which is end game content and not know what has happened to them when they have been DI' ed is the kind of thing that will have pressed all of Lee's OMFG buttons. :ranting2:
All this being said I would join any of Lee's raids any time, he wants the standards to be high and if he needs to berate me now and again, I can live with that.
