Frozen Synapse is an indie title, based on turn-based strategy but with a twist.
Both players have a small squad of soliders each, on a top-down 2D map. You have to plan your next turn by giving your troops orders, and then when you finish your turn both sides execute their orders at the same time.

Me and Frenzy had a go at the beta last night, and although we didn't quite know what we were doing it was pretty good fun.
Trying to second-guess what your opponent is up to while planning your own moves makes for some great gaming.
