Any chance of getting a more classic map rotation on? I don't have any of the ones that are on the hook & it's a bit late in the life of css to be worried about d'ling & learning them all.

It was a good night.. There were a few folks that would have made it classic:

Sadako
Benny (couldn't get in)
TL (of course)
Lee - where is that guy?
Lion
Sulky (couldn't get in)

Good to see Duvel (he was my last kill before the server died.. that I WON'T forget.. :D), Blunt, Snooks, FatBob, Lib, Acid, Oldy (of course) and all the other regulars that made it..

Let's face it.. CSS brough this community together. Never forget where you started from. It's why we're still here..

RIP CSS

Well, it's a shame that some people had difficulty joining.
Early  on  we realised that there was a problem so OB figured it was the fast download, so he reset it and I restarted the server.
it should've been easy after that.

great games tonight, but not really a fitting send-off for CS:S as many of the community founders and old timers were absent.

It may be a good idea to have a "Last ever CS:S night" every week, if it proves popular enough, we could adopt it as a supported game:lmfao:

I'd have a look at this 1 Ghostmjr if I were you:flirty:

:D

Well it was a great night.

When people moaned they hadn't downloaded the game they were just plain silly :P

Maybe we can do something like this once a month and get people on the server.

Thanks for the games last night folks. You can say all you want about the more visually special games and games with a more involved style of gameplay but for thick of the action fun it still can't be beaten.

I personally think if the CS server isn't really taking up resources that are needed for another game, then why not leave it running.

Hi Alby,

The servers are empty that's why. We could leave the server running - hell, with the pimped up BA4 we could probably run 100 servers but it's pointless if they're empty.

We're leaving it on the system and will certainly crank it up for special occasions (and I can see it remaining as a mainstay of the LAN). However there's little point if it's online using bandwidth for no avail.
