You may well never have heard of this film before. It is an HBO made for TV film that I've never seen advertised anywhere.

Kenneth Branagh, Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci star in the story of the Wanasee meeting. This was a meeting chaired by Reinhard Heydrich during WW2 and comprising of middle ranking members of the Nazi political machine. At this meeting the "Final Solution to the Jewish Problem" was drawn up. This put into opperation Himmlers plan to exterminate 11,000,000 Jews (the entire Jewish population of Europe and Russia).

In the space of two hours, where the architects of this 'Final Solution' ate sumptious food, drank fine wine and smoked fat cigars, the fate of six million men women and children was sealed.

The whole film takes place around a meeting room table and is mostly dialogue. There's no action and no killings. Just fifteen men planning the holocaust. It is one of the most disturbing, gripping and strange films I have ever seen, especially due to the realisation that it actually happened.

Then you should have done cause it wasn't - very enlightening tv with fine actors if it's 100% accurate
