I don't know if everyone follows all and every changes the Blizzard is applying on its game, but i think you should be aware of this (even more since many of you have underage children playing the game and using the account services, forum included). The discussion is really delicate, with both pros and cons, but i don't want to be biased or influence you with my opinion, so i'll just post the link of the official discussion about the incoming Real ID changes:
US official forum (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=25712374700&sid=1)
Official European forum (http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=13816838128&sid=1)
The discussions are going pretty well (the amount of flames and trolls is quite low, for a thread on the official forum), tho there are more posts than a person can actually read, and newer are added faster than anyone could read them. It seems that the great part of the forum community is joining the discussion.
It is also worth to report this article (http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gamehunters/post/2010/05/blizzard-and-facebooks-friendly-social-networking-deal-launches-with-starcraft-ii-/1), i think it shows pretty clearly where this changes are meant to lead.
I will also (ab)use this thread to make to make an ever useful plea:
Please be careful on the addons you're using. (http://www.arenajunkies.com/showthread.php?p=2461371#post2461371)
