Title: Have you changed your FOV?
Post by: Naldo on August 08, 2010, 01:24:41 PM
Don't know if you guys have done this already....

Open Settings.ini found in My Documents/BFBC2 you will see that FOV is default to 55
You can adjust that up to 120
The FOV in the settings.ini file is the vertical FOV NOT horizontal FOV
Open this link and enter your details LINK (http://rjdown.co.uk/projects/bfbc2/fovcalculator.php)
Enter your screen resolution in pixels
then the desired HFOV
click calculate
it will show you the VFOV setting you need to put in settings.ini.
Save.

Personally I have mine @ 75.  Cheers

I did have mine changed, but I've gone back to standard, can't say I've noticed that much difference.

Check out  obsolums post in this tread - http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?30657-Tips-tweaks-and-such I figured it's a better idea to be able to see the guy I'm aiming at than more edge of the screen.

Once you have the scope up it doesnt matter as you are zoomed on the player...

Which 90% of my shots are. I find when I am mounted on the gun for example, this setting comes into its own.
Especially when your team is spotting targets.
