I am hoping to be able to get all the components from my currently-dead pc tested (and will see how this laptop copes with a lan!). Helpful testers very welcome, sure there'll be some beer in it somewhere!
I am looking to borrow a decent psu and if that doesn't help, a 775 motherboard that supports q6600 cpu. If that doesn't work... see what does work in other systems? :rolleyes:

if anyone is able to help me out by testing one or more of my pc components I'd be beery grateful! What I think I need access to:
* 775 mobo
* working psu
* pc6400/5300 ram

Yes please, that would be excellent! Psu is my no1 suspect, and RAM can be a pita if it wants more than default voltage for its rated speed in my mobo.
If anyone has a 775 mobo and would let me check my CPU, gpu, etc then hopefully I can confirm which parts do/dont work.:-)
