This is a tricky one, we have a core group who want to push hard modes and work well together and have a number of other members who can handle 10 man normal modes but are lacking gear, skills or not often available for the hard modes. How do we keep both groups happy?
The best suggestion I've heard so far was from TL and that was to have 2 raid groups. The raid groups would run on different nights so that if raid group 2 (mainly normal modes) was short then we could get some of the RG 1 players in on well geared alts to fill the spots.
I'm not sure we have enough people to do this as we'd really need to have around 15 people locked to RG1 to ensure we had people to fill in on all three raid nights. Is it worth opening a discussion thread in the main forum on the topic or adding it as something we're discussing in Sithys thread to see what comments we get? What are your thoughts?
Yarr tis a plan cap'n
I don't mind helping out on jeebus or fleshmiller (cos lets face it they are usually short of a tank or healer)
Attendance wise Im not sure we can run 2 raids ... what we end up with is the same faces taking alts with a few that turn up as and when .... Im up for it tho if ya think its got legs
maybe something along the lines of
HC modes Thurs - sun - tues
normal mode - Fri - mon
what u guys think?

I was thinking about dropping one of the HC runs (Tuesday?) and running 2 days on each. Just from the point that in theory we could end up raiding in both groups if there was a shortage of players in a certain role. :g:
sounds like a more sensible plan and I think that friday - tues would be a nice way to do it as the firday night drunk run could quite easily fit in to us buggering about wiht alts in icc
