Having watched the replay of the first attempt at the one hour race, I have come to the conclusion that the tosser who caused the carnage at turn one was an idiot called Lameduck.:taz:
Apologies to all those on whom I cast nasturtiums for causing such a ruckus.
Other than that, what a smashing race :D
Dee was brilliant and as steady as a metronome and Seany was an impressive 2nd.
I started at the back, deservedly so, although I didn't think so at the time and made my way up from 16th to 4th but with little chance of catching Wakey.
Thanks Ben for advising me to wind my neck back in :)
Mind you, I still can't understand why someone who is a lap down, would overtake in the chicane on the last lap when their place (last) was not threatened.:eyebrow:

Really a nice combo. The first 30 minutes were very enjoyable. Then I got tired, made a few big mistakes and finally spectated. Good fun.

Yes, I also enjoyed the first 1/2 hour.
I should have been a wimp and set autoclutch on though, way too much work! I also felt that running the last 30 minutes in 5th gear would not do ;) Then I met yet another wall... my homemade set was OK for 15minutes, then I started getting overheating - left rear.

Congrats to Dee, and all who finished. I enjoyed watching the Lameduck climb and Slider / Ed battle.

Just as well, it sounded just like TeamSpeak (sorry bob) :lmfao: . I haven't seen those guys in ages Ben :D.

It was an enjoyable race for me.  I managed to finish with hardly any damage, which was a nice change for a city track.  I had some good racing at the start with the SCCC guys.

Well done to Dee.

It was great to have lots of racers too, so thanks to everyone who came along!
