Atramedes....&...Chimaeron
Dead Men Raiding ventured into Blackwing Descent last night and achieved first kills of both Atramedes and Chimaeron.
Atramedes underlined the fact that it is a 'do not take damage' fight and the raid adapted well to avoiding sonic discs and handling the kiting of roaring flames. Nice work in particular by our gong-bashers!
Chimaeron proved to be a much easier fight and gave up purplz to us on only our 6th pull. The fight was a bunch of fun, especially phase three where we are just threat kiting. The raid handled the mechanics really well and actually two-healed the encounter after an unfortunate early death - nice job healers!
Lord Victor Nefarius is up next in his dragon form (Nefarian), aided by his sister Onyxia and then DMR will have cleared Blackwing Descent and move onto Heroic modes. A couple of us did take a little peek at Lord Nefarius, but he seems to have a nasty aura up whilst his trash is still alive - we'll clear the trash first next time!
