Seeing as once you're geared for raiding, JP are essentially worthless. The trade goods a nice, but heh - why not a Wooly Mammoth (http://www.wowhead.com/item=44230/reins-of-the-wooly-mammoth#comments) that also gives you an easy achi for just 2175 JP :)

- I already have one (on my lock though)
- it smells...bad
- it doesn't fit through small gates/houses/entrances...sometime not even the bigger ones
- it's "fuel consumption" is too high , it eats a rainforrest a day or something.
- it doesn't look sporty
Must be a 100 reasons more.

Nah kidding, it's a nice mount when you got too many JP anyway. Usefull if you want to get those mount achievement thingies (like I did).
Still, give me a tiger and a drake anyday over an hairy elephant.
On a side note, anyone notice that once you hit 40 and get epic riding your 60% mount runs at 100% too nowadays? Wonder if it'll fly at 60 :')
ye they changed that, I like, and flying is now 150% 280% or 310%, and yes these mounts also adjust to the riding skill you have;)

Was funny when it was just introduced. I was riding my Spotted Frostsaber in AV when I got someone whispering: "Where did you get that mount? ". I told him/her that I bought it at the vendor in Darnassus. Took him her a while to understand that my beautifull Frostsaber now runs at 100% speed instead of 60%.
Was a realy realy good change imo, because not only are the "golden oldie" mounts usefull again, it also meant that I could use my normal drakes at 310% so I didn't have to use that hideous Violet Proto Drake anymore.
