This has just come out and can be downloaded here:

Now would we consider this as a community game or is it too close to bc2?
Can a couple of people please volunteer to try it out with me one night this week?
Thanks!
Servers are available from multiplay with preorder discount:
http://www.multiplaygameservers.com/game-servers/crysis-2/
or a full list of providers here:

It's also available on steam (http://store.steampowered.com/app/99830/).
I've played about an hour of the MP demo, it's ok but nothing special imo. It's nothing like BC2, more like a futuristic COD.
Dl it last night, will be trying it tonight!
Played it last night and i would have to agree with Tutonic on this one, does seem more CoD then BC, but still find it playable.
Btw Ghost, what night you wana try it out or you already did?
I have to say I found it a bit "meh". Generic console run-and-kill FPS. Plus, the second time I went to play it, they'd pulled the demo, so there were no servers. Steam is still promoting the demo and you can download it, but it does nothing (other than clog your hard drive).
To summarise; "Call of Nanosuit: Generic edition". There are better games to be had.
Firstly if you are lucky (or foolish) enough to have Crysis 2, you may be finding the graphics options are, well, missing.. So here (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1807934)is an application to set them. Crytek assumed we were all stupid (or left the menu like the console version - same thing really).
Some nice person has put a "warts and all" review of Crysis 2 on the forums at Rock, Paper, Shotgun - under their slightly fluffier (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/03/26/review-crysis-2-pc/) review.
Crysis 2 has no SAVE or QUICKSAVE, only *dry heaves* a Checkpoint System. *vomits*
QuoteCrysis 2 is far from an exceptional game compared to it’s predecessor, both in terms of graphics and tactical gameplay become just yet another shooter. If you like to play shooters a lot â€" you most likely gonna buy this game anyway. If you don’t â€" wait till it get discounted by 50%, cause that’s exactly how much it’s worth after the bug fixes. Right now though it’s not worth more than 10% of current retail price (which is ridiculously high) â€" If you ever thought you have seen a game full of bugs â€" buy Crysis 2 â€" it re-invents the definition of “game full of bugsâ€. And to make it worse â€" there’s no contact with EA community manager, nor anyone telling anything about bugs fixing, multilayer issues, what so ever. So community is left alone to it’s own misery.
Many has been said about graphics â€" I like them, though if you expected an improvement over Crysis 1 you gonna be very disappointed â€" there isn’t any! Game looks roughly as good as it’s precursor, sometimes better, sometimes worse, but it’s clearly visible that Crytek spent all this time on porting the game for consoles, NOT improving the previous title. Which is a great pity cause C2 got potential of becoming of best games in 2011 â€" sadly we’ll all forget about it till December.
Oh, and one more thing: Crysis 2 supports DX 9c and 32 bit version ONLY!!!! Which is a big step back comparing to previous game of the series. The Crytek said possibly they’ll release DX11 patch â€" when and if it’ll contain 64 bit version â€" noone knows. The multiplayer is limited to 16 players (Crysis 1 got twice as much). Sandbox Editor does not come with retail version â€" release date of it is unknown, but it’ll come after the DX11 version. Sandbox will not allow editing of Crysis 2 for creation of new maps or missions â€" it’ll be tool for engine, so that independent developers could make their own games using the engine (yet another step back comparing to previous game).
For me the score of game, assuming that all the bugs will be fixed is:
Single Player: 6/10
Multi Player: 8/10

Ignore the people moaning about lack of DX9. Crysis 2 looks incredible and it runs like a hot knife through butter. Compare it to Dragon Age 2 (which runs in DX11) and you'd think DA2 was a game five years older.
I found the MP demo to be a dissapointment, but the SP campaign is excellent. It's a fab game, I'm really enjoying it.

That's probably because Hans Zimmer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Zimmer) was involved in creating the score (it's definatly got an 'Inception' vibe to it).
I was going for more Batman Begins and Dark Knight, but you right with Inception
