Hi all,
Just got off the phone to Ninja and thought I'd pass on one of the topics I discussed with him.
Thursday is great to socialize but for those who want to dip in and do something structured on the Thursday or Sunday morning I was thinking of getting a TF2 server going providing we can get the LAN servers there so we can do something semi-structured.
So vote Yes, No or maybe to this idea.
Remember u'd need the orange box or simply TF2.
Cheapest current way is to get the orange box from amazon at £9.99 and enter the code into steam.
I really love TF2, would be great to play it with you guys.
Unfortunately recently is has got a bit more complicated with the crazy crafting and add-ons. Its still a fantastic team based game though.
Thursday evening would be a winner for me!

It's a game that would be easy to pick up and get going. There's no obligation of course, we're just trying to maxmise your LAN experience!
Ghosty even if the servers aint there on the Thursday, hosting a server for people on your own machine works fine. Well for up to about 10, more than that it might get interesting :)
Don't have the Orange box so only have TF and not TF2.
I'll probably be up for some TF.
TFC FTW! Just no bunny-hopping go get to crazy speeds. HWG going at the speed of a scout is no fun for anyone.
I miss the Engi's EMP nades as they were awesome to take out Soldiers and HWG. Also concussion Nades for covering huge distances on the maps quickly, when used with the medipack for infecting players its pretty much unstoppable.
Proper rocket jumping and nade pre-cooking =). Great for doing tricks and getting to new areas of the map!
Demo charges were pretty epic too in open spaces. I really miss TFC =(. Better game than TF2 in terms of balance and game-play IMO.
