Tbh I think we can put more into setting up a second RG, using alts, different raid nights, make it easier for people to get in DMR somethings like that. Ofcourse it will still take some time but you have to start somewhere. Especially since I cant raid now(I was kinda hoping that my suggestion got accepted), I am hoping we can get this going.
About the members rotation, I think both are right(TL and Amber), DPS gets rotated alot, tanks well we only have 3, healers decently I notice that Tirk gets in alot more then the rest however he is the only paladin and paladins are the best solo healers IIRC, no hard feelings here btw(and if im wrong then say so).
Valid points Drae, but well. I think he is passing as much as anyone. Last sunday, I past a spot (not my spot, as raid wasnt setup). Jas passed yesterday even though Semi wanted to. I lol'ed a bit at that. It happens all the time, but he is a great healer, true dat.

About the 2nd raid group.. We hear you TL. And we understand. The problem is that socials who wants to see the raids, just doesnt know what the officers are thinking, or discussing in debreifing and /officer. So, if you keep the whole guild updated, we are thankful and pleased.
We dont have the numbers for a 25 man raid at the moment. Is this something we are aiming for? Or are we staying the way we are at the moment. If there are any clear lines, I might have missed them.
We had previously posted up our aims in a single post, but I think we lost it in the roll-back on the forums - we'll see out getting it re-posted, thanks for the reminder!

Well I see Tirk in raids close to 100%, but I dont see all the raiding time, but I can understand that caus the others are mainly not up to the task of single target healing.
You need to be aware of the other factors Arctic of which officers are aware of but you might not be. For example, when we scheduled Tirk to sit out last time Jas opted to sit out instead due to having a bad migraine, so Tirk was scheduled to sit in the queue, but got to raid because of Jas' migraine. Things like that you do not get to see, but we do and I can assure you we are rotating EVERYONE.
Like I said I dont see all the raiding time so I dont have a full view on things going on, and I dont care anymore, its over for me, I dont care about healer rotations most of us are awesome(except Slush, the slacker :P ).

Well I'm up for a 2nd raiding group soon. I agree with Mr Arctic
I think if we are near 2 groups then it would be a shame not to do it, as long as its not at the detriment of the main "A" group.

Can a 2nd team of alts and mains form up ofc not locking for the main raid,
Mondays Wednesdays ? new players getting in the A team learn tactics etc get loot maybe ?

Some of the concerns for raiders using alts on these runs, and in particular the officers, is burn out. Whilst it may not be apparent to many, there's a hell of a lot that goes into running a guild and even more into running a guild that raids. Personally I've spent more time in just raid preparation than I have actually in raids and other officers are the same. Whatever we do, I would want to ensure that we are not spreading ourselves too thin as I've seen burn out in others before and don't want anyone to go through it in this guild.
We'll give the idea a good lively discussion though and we'll come back to y'all real soon.

I agree the risks in running it, but would point out the risks in not running it outweigh them for dmr as it stands.
Its about expectations mine are ... i just want the odd raid night turn up be nice have fun learn a bit (a great ethos since the inception as i understand it)
Some raiders can raid 5 6 nights a week gl to them, but as this and many previous threads show this is not everyones opinion i think an open forum of ideas with a cross section of opinions could best solve this rather than a few with similar expectations trying to solve it ? Perhaps the 2nd raid group would be a little less medium core, not soft but sort of squidgy, happy to listen to other views and go with consensus..
