Title: Assessing Impact on Current Raid Group of a Second Raid Group
Post by: TeaLeaf on March 04, 2011, 07:43:04 AM
We'd like feedback, from current Thu/Sun/Tue raiders only, about whether or not the formation of a second raid group to raid on other nights (not Thu/Sun/Tue) would impact your own participation in the current main raid group.

Would a second raid group have any impact in terms of you membership of the current raid team?

Please could all current raiders comment on this from their own personal perspective so that Council can assess any impact on the current raid group when formulating plans for any second raid group.

Thank you.

i'm going to give priority to the main raid, so in my case it shouldn't affect my attendance on the main raid.

No.
The tue/thu raids are set in stone for me, and are the prioritized ones.

Sorry for the above edits, but I am trying to keep this thread incredibly clean and simple.  Another thread will be posted in due course in which you can offer services of alts etc for any other raid, but for the moment I'd prefer answers along the lines of

"No, an second raid group for alts/non-raid mains would not affect my participation in the current raid"

or

"Yes, it would affect my participation in the current main raid as I would prefer to switch my allegiance to the new raid group and raid my main from there."

No, an second raid group for alts/non-raid mains would not affect my participation in the current raid.
I also don't have the time to actively raid other nights as much as I would like to :)

I would like to join a second raid group if the pace of the group would be more relaxed as the main group.

(Not really raiding at the moment but still rank honored)
