Hey Folks..
No rat-maps this year. I've had a look around and came across these baby's
de_Joint - http://www.gamebanana.com/maps/122147
de_Core - http://www.gamebanana.com/maps/149357
Ran around them today and they both seem pretty good. Depending on Numbers I thought we could use these and then have the final on dust2.
I'd rather the final be based on skill than map-luck.
Thoughts Please!?
NF
Totally agree on dust2 for final and de_core looks good with a nice layout for team matchplay. Not too sure if de_joint will work but I will get CS fired up over the weekend and have a look.
de_core is a nice compact map with good access between the sites and should work well in 4v4 or 5v5. de_joint is a bigger map with restricted access between sites and a lot of running to get from one to the other (and to the sites in the first place). So if we had bigger teams it could work otherwise I wouldn't use it.
Thanks for the feedback Whitey.
So we've got Core and Italy. Can you suggest a third? Could easily be tried and true and not new..
Thanks!

It might be fun to use de_core for all of the matches up to the final and then play the final on dust2. It would give people a chance to learn the map in the first round before the harder semi-final match, failing that inferno is good for matches. Oh and Blunt really needs to get that cough seen to before the LAN!
Wow guys I'm just impressed that you can remember them. Apart from Dust, Train, Italy and (Bizarrely) the submarine by Whitey and Mats(?) I can't remember any!
