We're going to hold a Dead Men Raiding guild meet later this year to coincide with dMw LAN XX which will be held from
30 September - 2nd October 2011 in March, Cambridgeshire (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=march,cambs&aq=&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=87.116991,87.011719&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=March,+Cambridgeshire,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.551306,0.090637&spn=2.201236,2.719116&z=9).
As that LAN will be dMw's twentieth LAN party, attendance will be high and places limited. However the hotel we use has spare capacity and there are several nearby hotels/BnB's which would allow us to use the LAN hotel as a meeting centre/base and then arrange things from there.
We're letting people know now so that super-cheap cheap airline tickets can be bought in advance and travel arrangements made.
LAN Background:The LAN attendees usually start arriving on Friday morning, but there is also a dedicated crew that arrive on Thursday night to get some early socialising in! The LAN continues until Sunday and most people have packed up and started making their way back to the airport by Sunday lunchtime.
The AgendaThe LAN and the Guild Meet are being held at the same venue. Most people coming for the guild meet will not want to lug a computer with them, so we've scheduled some time together and some time doing other social stuff. The schedule looks something like this:
Day|
dMw LAN|
DMR Guild MeetThursday evening|some people arrive early for pure social time|some people arrive early for pure social time
Friday morning|LAN is up and running from 10.00am & LAN attendees arriving| DMR Meet attendees arriving
Friday afternoon|LAN attendees arriving - social time|DMR Meet attendees arriving - social time
Friday evening|The Traditional Steak Dinner @ the Hotel (all attend, vege options too)|The Traditional Steak Dinner @ the Hotel (all attend, vege options too)
Friday late evening|Social in the bar, some gaming|Social in the bar
Saturday morning|LAN competitions/recovery|Recovery
Saturday midday|LAN competitions|Organised DMR activity (e.g. karting/paintball etc - still to be decided)
Saturday evening|Attendees break up into smaller social groups for dinner (at a local chinese/indian/pizza/kebab etc, then Social in the bar & some gaming later|a DMR Dinner at a local chinese/indian/pizza restaurant etc, then Social in the hotel bar
Sunday morning|Recovery & departure|Recovery & departure [/table]
Whether you choose to attend the dMw's LAN XX or DMR's Guild Meet is up to you and whether or not you want to bring a computer and get involved with the LAN competitions and play other games.
Last LAN the competitions were played on CS:Source, COD4, NFS:Shift, Arma2. At LAN XX we expect better internet connectivity to be available so the list might move to something like: CS:Source, COD5 (current supported game), BF BC2 (current supported game), Arma2 (current supported game), NFS:Shift and perhaps others or updated versions thereof.
DMR members are also members of dMw, so you can decide to attend either event. Both are based at the same hotel, the gaming room for the LAN is only 30 yards from the bar and we've scheduled a LOT of dMw & DMR shared social time together. You'll meet a whole bunch of people you have previously only met on Teamspeak and have a great time whichever one you choose to attend!
If you want to book a place for
dMw LAN XX then you need to watch the dMw LAN XX (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?386-dMw-LAN-XX) forum and wait for the booking thread to appear. Supporting Members get early booking rights via the Supporting Member forum section, likewise any international travellers can book a LAN place early by talking Penfold.
If you want to book a place for the
DMR Guild Meet only, then just post in this thread.
The dMw LAN on its own usually attracts 35-40 dMw members, a lot of whom fly in from Europe to the UK to join in the fun. It would be great to see as many DMR members there as possible.
Due to the October LAN being dMw's 20th LAN we expect the LAN to be fully booked. We're hoping that DMR attendance will then boost the social attendance significantly and make the weekend something really special for all involved. The LAN will have their own activities organised throughout the weekend, but we intend that the LAN and DMR groups merge for the social side of things during any free time - especially as we are all part of dMw!
Want to Come Along?Firstly, we are interested in a list of those who will want to attend the DMR Meet and which days you are able to attend. Post your name in this thread please if you intend to come along. Then
go book your cheap flight NOW if you are intending to fly into the UK from the european mainland - the cheaper flights go quickly and get way more expensive if you do not book them now! Don't worry about travel from the airport to the hotel, we'll organise something nearer the time to help out.
Book your place NOW!Attendees:- Jas

Please note that the hotel has an 18 years+ booking policy so the minimum age for attending the DMR Meet is 18. DMR Meet Details: Dates: Friday 30th Sept, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October 2011
Venue: Oliver Cromwell (http://www.olivercromwellhotel.co.uk/), March, Cambridgeshire.
Hotel Costs: Bed & Breakfast Accommodation: double occupancy £35 per person per night, sole occupancy £50 per room per night
Room Availability: 35 x Double; 8 x Twin
If you book a Twin Room and want to share the costs of the room then when you post in this thread to confirm your attendance then also make a note of the fact you have a Twin room booked and are looking for someone to share with.
As before, the reduced accommodation and function room rates have been negotiated on the basis that the majority of the attendees will partake of the excellent cuisine offered by either the hotel restaurant's Fixed price, A La Carte or Bar menus.
And YES, there WILL be Steak Night! Eating at the hotel is NOT mandatory, but I am sure that any attendee from the last couple of LANs will vouch for the quality of both the food and the company! The Oliver Cromwell offers:
- The Noble Suite - an air conditioned conference room (http://www.olivercromwellhotel.co.uk/conferences.html)
- 24/7 access to the suite
- dMw control of entry to the suite
- Late night bar
- Gymnasium
- Large indoor swimming pool
- Eight-person Jacuzzi
- Sauna and Steam room
- There will be some events organised in the area of March, which is to be confirmed. So it wont be just drinking for 3 days.
Note for International Travellers: The accommodation costs are above, it's cheaper if you agree to share a twin bed (two single beds) room with someone of course.
Travel: Any London airport works well, Stanstead & Luton are closest. Heathrow is ok, Gatwick is further but still doable. If you book your flight tickets we'll make sure someone picks you up and takes you back - post on the forums for a lift and you are usually sorted out very quickly as other attending members appreciate the international effort made! Other airports are also a possibility - if in doubt post and we'll see if anyone would be travelling past your airport!
Details of the events will be coming soon. But some of the more social aspects of the weekend i.e Thursday night club, Steak night etc will be shared with the LAN attendees.
The Guild Meet is not a gaming LAN, there will be no space for your PC. If you wish to play games at the event you need to sign up for the LAN.
The DMR Guild Meet is social only. :)
BOOK NOW!!!!!!!!!!
I am up for it, looking if i can get Roosz to come aswell.
Sign me up.
May well try and make an appearance for a day for some socialising as i'll have just started Uni in Nottingham so could get the train down! Will have to see nearer the time though!
Sounds like a good idea and will hopefully attending the LAN anyway. Would be great to put faces to all the players.
I would like to come, but i'm having trouble in planning something so much ahead.
P.S.: I forgot to mention i have an even bigger problem: i try to avoid drinking alchool, since i have the lowest tolerance treshold ever seen in a human being. :P
Dont worry about that mate, you dont have to drink and you will be in the company of good folk who would look after you!!!! I almost managed to type that with out smirking.
Quote from: BrotherTobious;322271Dont worry about that mate, you dont have to drink and you will be in the company of good folk who would look after you!!!! I almost managed to type that with out smirking.
I somehow find a certain restrain in trusting you... :P
Would that be the physical restraint of the gimp suit Toby has or just the court restraining order we have against him?
Well don't worry returning it to benny this LAN
I am not sure, maybe if I find enough dutch companions to help me out im in:P
Really up for this but the missus's bday is the 30th...i will prob just book into a hotel down the road and stay for the sat night so dont need a place in the dmr/w hotel but i will show u drunk :)
Im checking the last things but its almost for certain that i will be there. Really looking forward to meeting all of you i havent met ;)
OP updated to here.
I am hoping to attend! Losing my LAN virginity
I was thinking of going over maybe a few days early, but is there anything to do around those parts before the actual event?
Depends Padding, London is not far away, and there are other regional centres to explore - depends a lot on what you want to do. March itself is a smaller town, but there are lots of things within reasonable reach.
Would definetly be up for this. Have a period of offtime at that point in time. Let me read through this a bit more clearly but for now, definetly interested :-)
Dutchies keep me posted, we might be able to fly together I guess?
EDIT: Ok, just to check something... we would be staying at the same hotel as the dMw LAN is held in, right? But we're not so much doing a LAN as we are having a meet. So I don't need to bring a rig right? (I couldn't even if I wanted to but well..)
Correct, no rig needed. We'd be basing the social activities at the same hotel as the LAN yes. If we fully book the hotel then there are a couple of other hotels in the direct area (100yds away) that we'd also use.

Sure i will keep you posted, as more Dutchies are trying to come to the meet.
OP updated to here.
The DMR Guild Meet running alongside LAN XX is now 6 months away and cheap international flight bookings are now available (usually they are available to purchase 6 months in advance), so if you want to get some seriously cheap flights to the UK for the Guild Meet and/or LAN XX then put your name down and book NOW!!
What would be most logical flight destination? London Stansted?
Ye I would say its the easiest, either someone nice can drive by and pick you up or you can do what I did this lan and take the train to March and hopefully have someone pick you up there
There is also a decent chance of a lift from the airport. Particularly if numbers are higher, we might organise some group transport from Stansted.
If it is a different London airport then it's just a matter of posting up and we'll see if someone is goign close by who can help out.
If anyone coming from denmark/sweden, maybe we can coordinate flights
I ran this past the wife and have been given a provisional green light! Unsure if I can make the Friday though due to work commitments, will know closer to the time.
Quote from: Azunai;322626What would be most logical flight destination? London Stansted?
Most Dutchies fly with easyjet to Stansted ;)
I will check this weekend for my ticket etc.
I'll be flying with Ice, yes. Just booked my flight this morning :-)
I would like to book my flight this very minute but I don't have enough money yet :P need to wait around 2months before I can :P
Quote from: Azunai;322717I'll be flying with Ice, yes. Just booked my flight this morning :-)
Still considering if I will join or not. Are you flying from Schiphol? I would prefer Zestienhoven but can't find any flights from there to Stansted.
Tbh pretty much any London airport has options. Which airports can you get to?
Quote from: Legolei;322734Still considering if I will join or not. Are you flying from Schiphol? I would prefer Zestienhoven but can't find any flights from there to Stansted.
Yes they are flying from Schiphol, I would prefer Rotterdam aswell but its way more expensive(like 240 euro) then Amsterdam, but if you can find something as cheap as Easyjet then let me know;)
Eindhoven costs 85 euro and goes to Stansted. I think thats a better option then Amsterdam.
Yeah we fly from Schiphol we fly at 09:30 to Stansted and arrive at 09:35 uk time :-) with easyjet.
Quote from: TeaLeaf;322736Tbh pretty much any London airport has options. Which airports can you get to?
Rotterdam has flights to London City. But I'm also considering the boat from Hoek van Holland to Harwich.
Then you're still a good few hours from March though (4-5?) I think...
Quote from: Azunai;322754Then you're still a good few hours from March though (4-5?) I think...
Harwich to March is about 2 hours in the car, 3 hours by train (and 3 changes).
London City Airport to March is also about 2-3 hours as well depending on how you chose to get there (2 in the car, 3 if you decide to take the train).
If someone is driving on a nearby route it is often possible to get picked up. Definitely not 4-5 hours though (I hope!!)
Hence my delete. I was confusing Harwich with Dover (where you'd end up with the canal tunnel train, and the only place where I ever entered England). ;-)
Anyway, slightly more on topic: What about the hotel? How/where/what/when do I book/pay for that? Via LAN sign-up or independantly or...?
dMw have block booked the hotel already, but we will not be letting anyone book a room yet until we have some other planning issues sorted.
Basically we'll prioritise LAN attendees to the LAN hotel (which should cover up to about 60 people), then DMR Meet attendees. The LAN usually has about 35 attendees, so we're not expecting any issues with rooms, but if we exceed those numbers then we have arrangements in place via the hotel to use alternative very local accommodation.
We'll be letting everyone know when rooms are available to be booked and organising a booking system/procedure to ensure everyone is treated fairly.
Ok, just so I know :-) Thanks for the info!
Okay stupid question... i thought we where automatically in the LAN as well if we are coming over for the DmR guild meet, but do we have to sign up for that separately?
The LAN and the Guild Meet are separate events being held at the same venue. Most people coming for the guild meet will not want to lug a computer with them, so we've scheduled some time together and some time doing other social stuff. Whilst the precise schedules are not yet set, I suspect they will look something like this:

ill come, need a room mate though :)
Right,quick silly question....
I know the most of u guys by "Game Name"...and a few by "real name" so at this hotel what happens?
"yeah i'll have a pint of stella,a cider for TL,baby sham for whytee and jas will have a banana daquiri, sheep, just leve him on the lawn :P"
If it is like that, great! they must think we are nuts!
Oh it is, you will learn some real names, but you will chop and change. Then there the creative ones which are only used towards the more drink filled end of the evening!
I think most people stay with the ingame name as it is the one you already know, now you only get to place a face behind that name...
Im gonna be there as well. Might team up in a room with you Tanales. I know how much you like us Danish ;)
Btw, i was still in doubts about whether i could join the LAN as well. I'd like to do both, but i would probably only bring a laptop and i was a bit puzzled about whether there was sufficient time enough to do both?
There is 3 days to do both! The main area where there might be a difference is where we're looking to do some kind of organised activity on the Saturday for the DMR Guild Meet whereas the LAN Attendees will be knee deep in their gamign competitions at that time. The rest of the time is fairly flexible and there would be mroe than enough time to meet people and talk/drink/socialise between gaming.
My main focus would be on the meet, but im gonna be in the area from at least thursday i expect. Im a vivid gamer and like to do the competition as well, not sure if it requires me to have a lot of games or however that works and if my trusted laptop have enough power ;)
I will wait to hear the voices :P
How about name plates with ingame names and IRL names :P
That would take the fun out of it. :)
Fun? Fun at a Lan?? hows that possible :p
Hey guys here is signup sheet please can you put your name down if you are wanting to join in I would be most grateful. Even if you have posted in the other one :) Thanks
Hope to see you there.
Count me in ofc. ticket was already booked.
Sign me up :-)
I would like a twin room as well, so looking for someone to share with. I don't snore! :D
Just a reminder so you know that you will not be alone - the DMR Guild Meet is running alongside and at the same time and same venue as the dMw's twentieth LAN party. The reason you do not see all the officer names in the above thread is that we're already booked in for the LAN so will be there anyway. The LAN booking list already looks like this:

With regards to the room availability, just noticed it says "35x Double, 8x Twin" ... which is which? xD
Both. We also have overflow arrangements with other local hotels (very close by) as are expecting to more than fill the hotel. Priority goes to LAN attendees though hence the bar on booking at the moment.
Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk
Just realised - try this:
Double - one big bed which could sleep two
Twin - two single beds.
That could be what you meant.
Sent from my HTC Hero using Tapatalk
Ok so which is the 50 pound one and which the 35?
£50 for the double room with single occupancy, £33 per person per night in the twin room.
There are
FORTY people now booked into the combined dMw LAN Party and DMR Guild Meet event. The events are held at the same hotel at the same time as each other.
Why not add your own name to the booking thread and meet up with the people you spend hours with each week on Teamspeak and in-game?
These are the people already booked to attend either the LAN (i.e. bringing your laptop or PC to game & social) or the Guild Meet (social only):
TeaLeaf
Gortex
Michelanio/Halbarad
Jas
Sheepy
Feezuki
FatBob/Maldaror
Padding
Tanales
IceHawk/Grimnar
In the beginning...A few blokes gathered in 2002 at a Jam Factory in Cambridge to have a few games and insist that the security called one attendee Lord of Jelly. Little did they know that a poor Hawaiian shirt would set the standard of things to come.
Then it grew. LAN III in 2003 contained 35 attendees and set a new low standard. So low that we broke the venue after too many blown fuses. The venue was moved to the Oliver Cromwell.
LAN IV sold out completely. LAN V included some new folks (one with his Mum) and Siamese Twins?..
The Oliver Cromwell hotel has treated us well. The attendees enjoying it so much that the last couple of years has seen a growing Thursday Night Club.
And now.. Nearly 10 years later, LAN XX is here!
LAN Highlights will Include:
- All attendees to receive a free Fez and Commemorative Dog-Tag
- Friday Night Steak Night!
- Friday Night Hawaiian Shirt Competition!
- Saturday LAN Competitions â€" Including Prizes!
- Saturday Night Meal out on the town
- Dead Men Raiding Social â€" Including local activities during Saturday.
- That’s just the start!
Booking has been open to International attendees and prior LAN attendees. The remaining spaces are now open for all dMw members to join us in this Epic Event! Not to be Missed!
Click here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?32917-LAN-XX-Booking-Thread) and sign up for the LAN. Post in this thread if you just want to be there for the social fun! Book today!!
There is a massive turn out for dMw's 20th LAN party which will include a DMR social meet alongside. A lot of the DMR people have opted to join the full LAN party and do some gaming as well as socialising, some just for socialising.
Why not book your space now? (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?32917-LAN-XX-Booking-Thread)

Whilst the LAN itself is pretty full, there is still space for DMR members wanting to attend for the Meet.
My :2cents: is to book people, these lan weekends are a great fun and you will not regret anything if you go over, I've been to 2 lans so far and I'm not regretting anything so book now and have a great time!
Until when is it possible book? Social DMR only, that is.
Booking for the DMR Meet will be open for a while, we have no fixed closing date in mind at the moment, but I think the planning committee would prefer to know as soon as possible if people want to go so that they can plan appropriately.
I'm still working on getting these days off, i'll let you know asap.
I would definitely attend but unfortunately its right around the time that I head of to University. Damn you education, always getting in the way of stuff.
Got my plane ticket and hotel room booked ;) I am almost ready for my 3 dMw lan/meeting ;)
A little bump for those that are still thinking to come!
Join us and you won't regret it ;)
Meet all the people you hear a few times a week on teamspeak.
Ok I'm a fair bit confused now. I've already booked my flight and posted in this thread I wanted to book a room but don't see my name anywhere yet xD
I have booked my flight, reserved those days off in my agenda. Arriving friday, leaving sunday.
I want to attend the DMR Guild meet and book a room, shared if possible but single otherwise
I do not want to attend the dMw LAN XX
Now where is it that I sign/who do I poke/what do I do? ;-)
Look in the very first post of this thread. You are listed at #13 just between Jewelz and Tanales.
Call the hotel to book your room ASAP. Details of the hotel are in this thread (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?32917-LAN-XX-Booking-Thread). There's over 50 people booked into the hotel now between us and the dMw LAN so it should be a great meet!
Hope this helps and we'll see you there! :dmw:
As a follow up - anyone who is coming to the DMR Meet or the dMw LAN needs to book their room asap. Also:
Remember to tell the hotel that you are part of dMw and give them your gaming name so that you get given the reduced rate. It also helps us track who has booked and who is not booked.
Can you also please post saying that you have booked and days you are arriving, Many Thanks
I have booked a double for two nights and will arrive At Some Time on the 30th, probably mid afternoon but if I'm feeling frisky it could also be in the morning.
If anyone wants to cosy up and spread the cost that's fine, but I DO SNORE after a few drinkies. How loud depends on the quantity of fine ales I have turned to water ;)
I am only expecting to attend the Social, but will bring my laptop so I can play warcraft/sc2 if everyone's being anti-social and playing games :P
I gave the playing name of Twisted to the hotel.
EDIT: Slush has now booked in to share with me. He thinks he can out-snore me :)
Aye, flight ticket booked and all is well. Ill be arriving Firday afternoon 18:00 at Stanstead.
Will book the room first thing tomorrow then :-) And let you know back here.
Quote from: Twisted;326949but I DO SNORE after a few drinkies. How loud depends on the quantity of fine ales I have turned to water ;)
There ales are damn fine, expect to be turning a lot in to water and snoring a LOT
Sorry guys and gals but my trip to the states isn't happening so i'll be able to attend! Room booked.
Woot! nice one Whitey!
As an aside, I suspect the hotel is now pretty much totally booked out to dMw people, however if more people want to come along we also have use of the staff flat, but we will need to assist you in booking this. Just let BrotherTobius or me know if you have any problems booking a room and we'll sort out the extra accommodation we'd agreed with the hotel.
What's the international number, anyone know? I get no reception on 01354 602890, nor 441354 602890. :-(
Should be the normal international number. I know their phones are working as I was speaking to them on the phone at the time of your post.
+44 1354 602890

Not sure that will be much of a problem twisted, last time whitey passed out at around 21 just after dinner :P
Got permission to take days of so I would like to join the party.
Arriving on Friday, DMR social only.
Where there any rooms left before I start calling tomorrow?
Lego, all the normal rooms are now fully booked, but we have agreement for them to allocate additional rooms which were previously used as a 'staff flat'. We're just waiting on confirmation of how many people we can put up in the staff flat, we expect at least 4.
My advice is to call the hotel, tell them you want a room and when they say they are full ask them to put you into the Staff Flat as per Rob's discussion with Tealeaf. Rob (the hotel manager) is due to call me tonight anyway, so I'll mention it to him.
Just phoned them, they are setting up the arrangements for the staff flat rooms, and I will be contacted :)

Talk to Belinda and they will book you in. I spoke to her this morning about an hour ago and as the rooms are not on the normal system she will handle the booking.

I probably spoke to her. I spoke to a lady, who knew about the staff flat rooms, knew about the meeting. She just needed to make the arrangements in the hotel.
I'm just extremely bad at hearing and remembering names :(
Edit: Email with booking confirmation came in. Seems I have spoken with someone named Laura.
TL, if you talk to them again, can you check that my reservation for a single occupancy room has gone through?
If you check with BrotherTobious, I think he is holding a list of who has already booked. Just let him have your real name too and he can check.
Ok, i'll ask in the LAN thread... thanks ;)
or just PM him!
I'm guessing that the hotel is full by now, so where are the others staying? Considering taking a little trip, as I've got nothing else planned this summer.
Looks like the best option for me is to fly to Gatwick. Anyone else flying there and getting picked up? Might as well aim to be there at the same time then.
Also if anyone has a twin room, I don't mind sharing.
Hey Varg, i dont have a roommate it seems, so we could share a room i reckon.
And ive not booked a flight yet either so i could try and get to Gatwick if you have a day and time i could aim for :)
Guys you can call the hotel and they should have some accomadation. Give them a shout. In regards to flights try looking for stanstead as it is closer to the hotel. Which should help with getting a lift. Or there is the train.
Hope that helps if you get no joy on the hotel drop me or TL a pm
Have you booked a room yet Tanales?
It seems that Gatwick is the only airport that has flights directly for me. I could waste a few hours travel time going to Oslo first, which would be the wrong direction and more then double the price, but I don't think that is worth it :p
Guess I also better renew my passport. Apparently it's been 10 years since last time already...
No havent booked anything yet, been busy with work
ill call em on monday, dont know if they are celebrating midsummer there or not, but ill be doing that this weekend :)
Ok, I booked my flight. I could get Heathrow as my arrival airport, but for departure I ended up with Gatwick. How is it getting to Gatwick from where we're staying?
Arrival Heathrow the 29th at 11:05
Departure Gatwick the 2nd at 20:35
Im booked aswell, a room at the ye old griffin and flight to and from Stansted
arrive at 11:10 on the 29th and depart at 18:15 on the 2nd.
Anyone got any tips on how to get between Stansted and March nice and cheap? :)

There's a direct high speed train link from London to Gatwich which should make things easier, so getting back is simply a matter of getting back into London.
I'm looking at some options for travel, so bear with us. I'm going to try to post a thread in the LAN XX section (lower down these forums) to see if we can get the travel details sorted out asap. We'll manage it one way or another.
If you are flying into the UK for this meet, PLEASE POST in this thread (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?33323-Airport-Transport-Help-post-here) if you need help with transport to and from the airport.
Is this full yet?
The LAN is full with a waiting list, but the DMR Meet still has spaces and I believe the hotel has a couple of spaces left too.
You believe? :P guess ill call them first before getting the flight ticket lol!
When you call, speak to Carol as the remaining rooms are not on the system.

Couldnt have done a very good job - sending that @ 6:17 Tl, am hoping you are just heading to bed then
Nope TL is a bit freaky in his ability to be up and about at times the rest of us consider to be the middle of the night.
Today is Hawaiian shirt and fez day - let's just say that there is some serious eye damage being inflicted. The combination of hangover plus loud garishly coloured shirts is almost too hideous to contemplate.
