I've also just received an email on this;

Preload Advantages:
1. No download wait time on the 6 May 2011 CBT start date!

The preload is essentially the game without the ability to launch it.
Size is 1.2gb with speeds around 200kb-1.5m/b.
The file will download to your desktop then you have to run the .exe file to install the game.
Currently it says update failed and play is greyed out as the servers aren't yet online.

The DNA BitTorrent software used to download this installer put's itself on the system and in your startup.
Don't think it's anything sinister as is creates a Control Panel Icon entry for configuring it and is removable via the standard controls.
I don't like it when things so this.

Beta Key Application page unavailable??, I would like to play beta for this game as it looks quite good, but notsure how i would do that without a beta key?

Got some weirds errors while dl this game,also your link aint working for me.

EDIT: Seems to be working now,only cant connect to any server!
I managed to get in and try it and to say the least its pretty terrible.
Its a mix of counterstrike and neotokyo I guess.
Its worth a short bash but any long sessions make you wonder why on earth you even have it installed.
Of course its a beta but I don't like any part of the game so far.
Have to agree with you Ghost, thats why after my first game i uninstalled it.

More like a realist Nin. Aint gona be playing that game ever again.
I had a blast this afternoon for about 30 min or so.
It's early days and it is a beta but I think it has potential.
I cranked up all the settings and visually it looked quite good. I played on a Hostage Rescue map for a while and it was good fun. It takes a wee bit of getting used to the controls (eg: no auto-reload). It has clear boundry markers and let's you know that as a T you're straying too far from the objective.
The hostages need to be "contained" which means if you stray too far a way they will try to make a break for it. I thought that was funny but also a good twist to the game.
I had no problems with lag or stutter whilst playing.. Must remember to re-load however!!
I'm not writing this one off and will watch it as it develops.
I've tryed this on Friday with Scott and wasn'tto impressed either. Maybe after Beta it will look better or such.
The thing I've tryed is Save the VIP which put you in cars and you had to drive which was really bad to do. Bad controls and such.
Have to try this again after Beta me thinks...
I agree with you there Pete.. The VIP was poor. It could be improved however and potentially a lot of fun.
