Anyone who was there, knows what happened with after our Halfus kill.
[ITEM=http://www.wowhead.com/item=59474]Malevolence[/ITEM] was one of the loot items, and two players really wanted, Pälsboll and me. It's BiS for both of us.
I knew the DKP system is not working the way it should, but this time it really messed up the bidding. We both were willing to go to the -25 limit, but neither knew how much DKP we really had. If we wanted we could have gone on to -40, and no one could check it at that moment.
At the end I got the loot. Not because I bid more DKP, but because Pälsboll said I deserved it more. It was very sweet of her to say so, but that is not the method we use to distribute loot.
I know Sithy it trying to get the DKP working, but it currently is not working. It left me with a mixed feeling afterwards, delighted at having the BiS, but a bit disgruntled about the way I got it.
So, I would like to propose using a different system to distribute the loot until DKP is working. A /roll in /raid seems the best way to me, with main spec before offspec. But I'm happy with any other transparent, fair distribution method.
I actually offered Pälsboll to roll for it after the next trash wipe, but she did not want to do so. After the raid she even enchanted it for me, making it untradeable. I could only compensate her with my thanks and some gold.

Please accept my apologies for any confusion with the dkp, it is not working and will need to be resolved (it really is not for want of trying)
The RGT officers are aware and work is being done every day to resolve it.
Before DKP is swapped/lost it maybe as simple as someone else running it instead of me, who can get the forum to update.
There will be another update soon.

The addon & our website both work well, it works in RGT without a problem. It seems to be an issue relating to Sith's computer or the way it is configured. I have already suggested they manually input the log onto the website so that the table is correct & up to date. Beyond that, either Sith gets it working or we try someone else as it might be a permissions issue perhaps at Sith's end.
Its not Sithy caus it didnt work for me either, I tried it 1 of the first days when Sithy wasnt there and I could get it to sync.
Edit: or it would be something we both are doing wrong, but that cant be right can it?
Double Edit: My idea atm is to roll for items, using the rules Main>alt>offspec 1 item per raid unless noone else wants it. This is untill we get the DKP sorted.

I have updated the DKP for RGW manually, plse whisp or PM me if you think u have too much/little DKP.
The lifetime awards are not accurate but the balances should be close, taking into account Loot etc.

Loot rules remain - it was a stipulation of Council when setting up RGW. Sorry, but we're not going to change a system because of this.
We know the addon works as we use it in the RGT raid - there *has* to be something that you guys are doing differently. If it is config'd as discussed at length on TS, then it works, it's as simple as that. It works for multiple Council members, so you have to have done something different.
From time spent with Sith on TS last night, it appears that the Synch addon is downloading fine (so it must synch up no problem) and is showing via the In-Game addon, but that the dkp log is not in the folder where you have pointed the Synch addon to look for the file. The problem being reported is the upload not working - but if the file does not exist in the location you have set it to then the upload will never work!
This suggests to me that you just need to change the Synch addon to point at the correct folder. Certainly this had not been corrected as of last night, so let's try this first before amending dkp systems please!
I'll check with other RGT dkp runners and we'll confirm we're all doing exactly the same thing and then we'll post exact instructions back here so you have them in written form rather than the TS checks we have done to date.
Chances are I will miss tonight's raid. If someone can please record the names loot and pm or mail me I will update the table dip is the best system and it will work for rgw.

I thought you, Lego could have since you are in for most of the whole raidingtime and me a "common melee" are not. but I do hope it drops again soon, (my sweet presious shiney epic Malevolence :D ) and I already said it was yours before you said, lets roll for it so.. its fair that you got it.. happy for ya! I do try to "play fair" in raids and loots and I hope rest of the group is as well.. loots arnt everything. having fun is as important

WoW is installed differently in Windows 7 (C:\Users\Public\...\World Of Warcraft\), but the rest should be the same.
Can't remember (am at work now) if there were more dirs in between, so that's why there are <...>.
