Possibly the worst film I have ever paid to see
To sum up I’ll use the phrase that seemed to be Will Smiths entire dialogue
it was BULLSH!T
I did think it lacks certain stuff, but it wasnt all crap the end bit were they go on a rescue mission was stupid. But i liked the scene were the camera went in a circle around 2 rooms taking the action hadnt seen that style before and it was cool. Some stupid bits like were his ferrari was in the middle of a street war and didnt even get a scratch on it wtf? They had obviosly spent a shit load on it but they should have really employed people too see it before release. Becasue there were lots of mistakes like one sec a wing mirror is riped off the next second its back on. I do think they at least tried 7/10 but i wouldnt buy it on dvd. I would say watch it tho and make up your own minds.
I thought i was really good, i didnt notice any mistakes. Never seen the first.
I think the main women was worth the money spent on me ticket alone. :D :narnar:
I went with a bunch of mates and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
It doesn't have the wit or sparkle of the first, and the clever plot twist of the first where they swap identities is obviously missing. But Smith and Lawrence have great chemistry, and the wise cracks are still up there with the best of any mainstream action buddy buddy movie. I absolutely loved the bit where that kid comes to the door to take Martin Lawrences daughter out and he gets grilled by Lowry and Bernett, and everyone in the cinema was cracking up.
All in all it does exactly what it says on the tin - if you were disappointed then maybe your expectations were too high and you aren't aware of the staple fare produced by Mr Bruckheimer.....
Let me start by saying that I am not at all a fan of film critics, I rarely read film reviews before seeing a film and generally feel that they a creating an industry for themselves.
On saying that I was just searching on the web for the script of BB2 and found this http://www.movie-gazette.com/cinereviews/440 (http://www.movie-gazette.com/cinereviews/440) it completely sums up my feelings about the atrocity otherwise known as Bad Boys II.
I thought it was rather good (in a dumb action movie kinda way), especially the humvee rampage 8)

Sorry for the off-topic, but I'm not sure I follow your point Zok? What you are saying about film reviewers would appear to also implicate music reviews, book reviews, theatre reviews, etc, etc.
Thats like saying the paparrazi are to blame for taking intrusive photos, yet middle england lines up to buy hello, heat, the sun, etc, creating the market because a demand was already in place.
People love films (as this forum demonstrates) and therefore the demand for critics is created.....
Unfortunately there is a market for film critics, the problem is that the any opinion on a movie, music book etc. is purely an opinion, critics appear to think what they tell us in indeed (or the interpretation is) fact. People should be allowed to make there own considered opinion on whatever it is they are subjecting themselves to, rather than being told that this is good or not. A bad review of a film can be a killer, Underworld for example had poor reviews even though this forum reflected what a good film it was.
There are always going to be reviewers of this, that or the other, it doesn’t mean I have to like it.
This is just my opinion.
You may have another.
Isn’t life sweet.
oh and by the way
Barry Norman gets right up my nose
Unless I can talk them out of it, I and some mates are going to see this film tonight. It's this or The Italian Job, so no contest really.
Now if, as I fear, Zok is correct in his comments about this film I shall personally hunt down and kill all those people who claim it's not bad/good etc for wasting my Friday night.
You have till 23.30 to consider your verdict and remember lives depend upon it.
Tell em to go for the italian job much better film not as good as the original but not a bad try.
I have to admit to watching the Italian Job, and enjoying it immensely
I missed 5 minutes neart the end of it, needed the dam loo my mates just said nothing really much happened but i guess this will bug me until it comes out to rent so i can watch some of the last bit. I have a horrible feeling that this is exactly the type of film you would absolutely detest smilo

So, Mr Smilodeon ... verdict?
Fortunately enough of us had read the reviews of this film, and so we grabbed a DVD instead.
