Has anyone else been watching this? Having never read the books, I'm loving trying to guess who gets screwed over/brutally murdered next.

Agreed it so very good, just started to read the books and it is very good as well, some of it is very like for like.

Yep. Watching it all. I'm going to wait to the end of the series, then read the books.

Latest episode, head of the Lanisters? Charles Dance. Awesome. Has a "fatherly" chat with his son Jamie while gutting and dressing a deer.

By the looks of it so far, everyone gets screwed then brutally murdered. Possibly not in that order!

Yes, the scene with Tywin was superb. In the short couple of minutes he was on screen, you could immediately tell what a ruthless b***ard he is.

Looking forward yo seeing more of Charles Dance for sure.

I have to admit though, Tyrion aka The Imp just steals every scene he's in. Superb acting.

Peter Dinklage is great. He was in one of my all time favourite TV shows, "Threshold". If you haven't seen it and you are a fan of SciFi, get hold of a DVD or download it.

Unfortunatly i dont get the channel that this series is on the main attraction having sean bean in it as i like him as an actor may have to just download the episodes though

Was that the Amazon Black Friday deal by any chance? A chap at work got the book set as well.

I'm on the second book, loving it. Can't wait for the 2nd series, I think it's due April :)

No it was a Groupon deal (http://www.groupon.co.uk). I don't think it's on there anymore.
