I know, this might not be the apropriate place to post this, but since I dont like too much public attention, I wanted to share with you guys, whom I consider more close to me than the open forum.
After years with ups and downs, I have finally managed to become something. It has been a long road for my part, and it has been tough, not only with school, but also other "issues". But...
Today, I am officially a nurse. (Ok, I am still waiting for papers and some more formal stuff)
I have managed to get through and finishing an education. I am looking forward to work with people, and enjoy this with all my heart.
I also think this is one of the most scary moments of my life, counting the first dinnerdate I had with Oth at the age of 16.
I am now going to have responsibility for the life of a nother human being, and if I do a mistake, it can kill a man. After only three years I am given this trust. Am I ready?
I don't even know why I am sitting here posting this, but I guess I just wanted to share with you my thoughts and feelings on this day, which is a scary, but exciting one.
First off woohooo thats great news congrats really well done you have really put your all in to this and it has paid off.
As to the new responsibly they wouldn't let you near people if you had not passed, so deep breath calm yourself and your be fine.

Exactly. Enjoy your new role with pride, SJ. Congratulations on achieving a dream. Not everyone gets to do that :thumb:

Well done little girl.
As long as you don't take your knife in with you, just in case you end up knifing one by mistake, you'll be OK. Although I can think of some people that I see that I think could do with euthanising.
Well done Elle!!!:yahoo::clap: An impressive achievement.
From what I heard, your cooking isn't bad enough to kill a man, after-all Oth has survived :narnar:
Big gratz SJ. I know Oth is pleased too, he's waiting at home for you wearing your stockings & suspenders!
:getmecoat:
:worship:
Way to go SJ!

I wouldn't worry about the scary part.
There are always people who can help, you will learn everyday that you go into work.
We all too do matter how seasoned we are.
I remember you starting your course just as I was at Uni and am really happy your all done!
Relax for a bit then maybe think about qualifications for further promotion ;)
Good luck!
Well played SJ, you're definitely doing a job I couldn't no matter how much training, much respect.
Besides, I look crap in the uniform.
Well done indeed ... Medic!
I have these red spots somewhere intimate ..... would you mind if I posted you some pictures so you can diagnose them for me :norty:
Great news Nurse Ellie - congratulations to you and well done !!
Well done Ellie, a very noble profession and being scared means you'll be extra careful.
I have the pictures of Pen's "problem" as well, I believe the term that best describes the scene is 'weeping profusely'.
Now to the important bit, what prescription drugs can you get?
I'm not an Admin so I'm not allowed in here. But if I was I would say Well Done to You. Some people just have jobs, it's only a lucky few who find their vocation :D
That's fantastic news Elly! Congratulations
I know from our chats how difficult it has been sometimes, so extra Congrats for that!
I'm sure you'll have a long and successful career, and will only kill a few:lmfao:
Just watch out for Bernard Bresslaw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heB2g0IvOMg&feature=player_detailpage#t=110s)!
Well done SJ, I can honestly say your post (and more importantly your success) has made me feel genuinely happy at the end of a torrid day. No innuendo, no double meanings, I'm losing all touch with my inner self!
Well done, congrats, don't worry about the responsibility. We've just got rabbits and I was nervous but they aren't dead yet. I'm sure it's much the same....sort of. It's just the fur, teeth and mixamoto, mixamat, mixalot....err....rabbit flu I need to worry about.
Go have a drink!
Aww I am so touched by all the support! Almost makes me wanna cry, but we boys, we don't do that. *sniffles*
TL: Well, if you'd seen the outfit we nurses in Norway have to put on, you wouldn't call Oth lucky :P
PEN: I am a nurse, not a doctor. But after a look at the picture you sent me, I would surely go to a specialist, and get some ointment, it is NOT SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE THAT!
LIB: Let me know whatcha need, and I'll see what I can get. I'll put it on your tab. There might be some waiting in queue.
BENNY: I am so touched that you of all people were happy for me with no innuendo! Also, I do not know so much about rabbits, even tho there are people with hair that can be mistaken for fur. On another note, I've been out all day and night, just got home, so LIFE IS SWEEEEEET! (PS, I do not drink.. :D)
Thank you all for all your heartwarming support! I am touched, and love you all!
XOXO, SJ
Big congrats, i know it has been very hard at times, but its all been worth it at the end, being able to help others will be rewarding, something i wish i could do. Ofc you will be nervous, but i'm sure there will be people around you to help and support you! :thumb:
Quote from: Benny;326146I'm losing all touch with my inner self!
That's a sensitivity thing due to your over-touching of your inner self when you were younger. We did warn you.
Brilliant news SJ! After all the ups and downs you've earned it and i'm sure you'll make a great nurse.
Good news to hear Elly, you are finaly a nurse congratulations:yahoo:
*Sneaks in*
Congratz Elly for makeing your dream come true.
And there's nothing to worry about, we are all scared when something important is handed to us for care, but you will eventually get used to it and become a exellent nurse.
*Kills the camers recording him staying and vanishes into the night*

He survived the dinnerdate so I reckon you'll do just fine ;).
Don't worry to much about it, I'll reckon you'll do great and I trust it that the next time we play a game you'll be the medic hopping about.
