As some of you know, Cheese Puff has hurt his wrist. For those that don't, he fell of his bike almost two weeks ago now. As i've been asked about his condition a few times now i thought i'd post an update.
The doctors have yet to decide if he has actually broken his Scaphoid and has an appointment next Friday for an MRI. Until then he has to keep a brace on to stop any movement. He is still taking pain killers and has to be careful not to knock it on anything.
Unfortunately, the ranks of the Juniors have been further depleted today. De Blob went on a Cub Scout camp yesterday and after a coming together with another boy during a football game (the jury is still out on the other boys intent, grrr) he was knocked to the ground hurting his right side and shoulder.
After a painful night he was taken to A&E this morning where he was diagnosed with a broken collar bone or as the doctor put it, "snapped!". He is back home now but as you can imagine he is in a lot of pain and discomfort.
So sorry Juniors (and big boys) but i don't think you'll be seeing either of them anytime soon.

Ouch my best to them both
Get well soon. That XRay looks painful.
Scaphoid is a real pain, I know from experience.
Just tell him to follow Dr's orders and he'll be fine...
although it does take a few months to fully repair.
I don't know about collar bones, but I'll bet they hurt too
Sounds nasty. I hope they both make quick recoveries. On the plus side it's a well known medical fact that children are made of rubber and seem able to heal up quick. My brother broke his collar bone aged 11 - was off school for two days. Broke it again aged 36 and was off work for six weeks!

What Smilo said.
Plus, from personal experience, you can even play while having a cast around your arm or such.
Get well soon!

Ouch, reminds me of when my friend once accidentally broke someone's leg on a Scout camp.
Hope they both get better soon!
Eeek, hope they both recover soon! Best of luck.
Sounds like your trying out the knife skills and rifle butt attacks in real life. Sorry to hear about the injuries and hope they get better and fixed soon.
Hope they both made a speedy recovery
Bummer.. Hope you get better soon.
hope the 2 of you get better real soon.
Fast recovery to them both.
Cheers for your support guys, i know the boys really appreciate it!
Cheese Puff had an MRE scan this morning and they have now (finally) decided he has broken it so is now in a cast. Estimate is 4 to 6 weeks.
De Blob is back to the hospital on Monday.
