Looking for someone to introduce me to rfactor online.

If anyone still uses it?

Cheers.

I don't think anyone is racing it atm, I've not had it installed for sometime.

http://www.rfactorcentral.com/ is the place to go for anything rFactor, otherwise what is it you need help on?

I dont know anybody on rFactor at the moment, as it seems to have died a death on dMw.
The mod we mainly used was 'Historix' as that appeared to produce a better range of combo's  //www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?28664-HistoriX-mod

Live for Speed is still flavour of the month, (although the flavour is less intense these days) and we would give more than a warm welcome to any new drivers:D

Yell out on Teamspeak for any assistance required, we all have good pit-crews :D
Post your LFS name so we can track you down and guide you through to the pit of doom known as dMr

Bob,All.

Thanks for getting me setup tonight.  Really appreciated it.

Going to have to send the new wheel back to logitech though. The left paddle is porked, Gutted.
Of course that was not an excuse for my driving skills or lack of. :D

Enjoyed the racing. :racing:
Before you turf the wheel back to Logitech, try it on another car as a few behave differently on change up and down. The FBM especially and the XFR (last nights car) doesn't like any throttle applied when down shifting. Try it on the mini (UF1), that will give you a good indication.
Also try the settings and ensure that button 5 has been allocated to downshift.
On the MRT( the go-kart) 1st gear is selected by downshift as it mirrors a motor-cycle gearbox and the car hasn't a reverse gear, a bit of a bugger if you end up facing a barrier.
Shout if you want 'owt. :D

Thanks for the tip's.

Gave them a go and it's confirmed broken out the box.  Rang Logiteck and within 5 minutes have a new one on the way.

They told me to keep this one, they don't want it back!!!!! Crazy.
You can see the small black microswitch and must be easy to replace at low cost.

Thought this would be a good excuse to say hi in the forums .lol.:D

Me and a few fellow buddies play rfactor a fair bit :)
Im trying to get them all to join DMW as it could be a good base for us to race and meet other drivers .
We have all played with many of the mods and tinkered with our own car skins as well.
I enjoy playing the HISTORIX  mod as i own and love mk1 escorts:)Plus its the only way i can afford to race on track in one :roflmao:
We all use Xfire to keep in touch but it would be better to use a teamspeak channel .but i have not seen one on the DMW TS.

Most of us are up for playing other types of games too ,as long as our pc spec
can handle the game .
Any way :D hello fellow DMW gamers might catch up soooooon :D:D

Hi essy, we don't have the rFactor server up atm, but if you and your buddies want to come and race on our server, we'll fire it up for you.

Come on Teamspeak and we'll have a chat :thumb:

I've had quite a few Mk1/2 escorts back in the 1980s, we used to break them up for spares as well, including an early Lotus as the cills and top mounts were rotten, I wince when I see what they go for now

Hi Jamin ,
That sounds great ,will make sure i get the guys on board first ,nout worse than getting things all set up to race and every one decides to leave the cars in the garage lol.

The old mk1s are fetching good money now ,i was lucky to buy one back in 1988 lol i still have it now .
