For anyone not familiar with the map it consists of a number of missions that span across several towns. Complete the first and then the second becomes active. It's doable with five or six players but eight upwards makes the map really come alive. As the target areas are reasonably close together there's no need to use choppers and the map doesn't provide much in the way of heavy armour. So this is mostly a close quarters infantry based map.

On the plus side.
It lasts about long enough to do in an evening eight pm to ten thirty pm as an example.
The AI is very tough. They use cover well, flank and even seem to shout commands to each other... spooky.
The missions are diverse, so it's not the rinse and repeat that we get with Insurgency and Domination.
It focus's on infantry and giving only limited weapons and ammo makes planning and bullet conservation a must.
There's a fair bit of house by house clearing which adds a nice touch.
there are loads of civilain vehicles which can be used to move from town to town, so no long runs back to the base to grab another jeep.

On the down side
The respawn timer is only set to a few minutes so it's not uncommon for a respawn to be forced on a wounded player before he can be healed
Vehicles seem to depspawn if you leave them i.e. they're not persistent.
The maps don't appear to be persistent either. So you can't stop and pick up from where you left off another night.
there sometimes seems to be a trigger that fills the next target town with soldiers. Sometimes this trigger fires as you're entering the town and you find yourself surrounded by enemies that weren't there a few seconds ago. This makes reconnaissance of a town a bit hit and miss, sometimes soldiers are there and sometimes not.

If one of our script wizards could fix the respawn timer, make transport persistent and maybe look at the AI spawn triggers this could become an excellent map IMHO.

Nice, but as we all saw the AI spawn is a bit odd when we assault from the East. I have no idea but is there any way that the enemies could be in place before we arrive. this gives us the chance to surprise attack and also means they won't spawn right on to the end of our bullets

Also is there any way to make the heavy weapons dump only die to satchel charges. Rocketing it from the hill seemed a bit easy and not really any fun.

New version is StoneTepid.  Skill level upped, but can go higher. Yes to the trigger, I can change that. the rocketing bit, possibly not, but I can surround it with things that fire back harder if that helps? (or an Mi-8 that sweeps up if you destroy it)

Actually, I've just changed my mind, yes I can do that heavy weapons dump. Can also vary the location. I'll do it tomorrow.

Right, bugs fixed, new load on there. Trigger point for enemy spawn fixed, heavy weapons is now a radar (which you can't rocket) and I've not tweaked the ai.

Works and tested. I can jack up the skill level if you want?

Oh, and it's called StonePaperScissors

(OB, could you delete all other incarnations apart from this one and StoneTepid. Ta)

Thanks,
The AI has always been pitched about right I think. Harsh but not impossible. Maybe we can have a go tonight. Otherwise it's been a while since we did a convoy.

ahh.....I didn't test the radar blowing up, which in itself will be fine, but you'll probably need satchels, and I didn't check if they were in the initial ammo dumps :)
