Seriously, why can't the gaming industry create a proper new version of counterstrike (and release it, not just "work on it").

Every time I boot up black ops I get pm's telling me to stop playing "that crap" and come play a match on CSS. If anyone wants a night of CSS I can borrow a server for the night for a private game.
You remember that girlfriend that you had when you were 17, you know, the one with a tight body, great in the sack, presentable enough to bring home to your mum, but dirtier than stig of the dump in a mud bath....when you meet her next week she'll be mid 30's, spotty, fat and have a missing front tooth.

It'll be hard to beat the good old days of CS:S, CoD doesn't stand up, and nothing else I've played has been there either. It's badly in need of a re-make. It's no easy task keeping game play mechanics and hit boxes comparable while overhauling a games engine to a point where it looks stunning again. I'm sure they've plenty of work going into it.
Until then, let her rest. CS:S was retired for a reason, it's better to look back to the good ol' days rather than trying to relive them.

True as that might be, she'd be 24 now for me, so shes anything but fat, spotty and still has all her teeth ;)
