There's a new version uploaded and it's buggy. It's good but it's buggy.
Here's the run down;
- Revive works, but if you are near a mash it causes it problems, so just select the mash
- If all die, you're screwed, but rightly so, restart if you do
- Once you get revived the weapon bug persists, you need to drop and pick up your weapon to get it back, easiest way, press 'g' (gear) select the gun then the arrow on it's left, then the arrow on it's right, saves you dropping and picking up and takes a second.
- Skill level is probably a bit low, I'll jack it up, which you can do from the mission start screen.
Note to self: When starting Barnyard Animal DO NOT set 'amount of enemy' to 'Insane' .....just to see what happens. It won't end well.
Haha once more over the top moment was it ?
I wish I had a fraps Video of the map with the red dots randomly popping up at the rate of about 5 per second =).
Awesome map, really looking forward to playing it again.
We tried the updated version last night 'Banjo Wings', that is the update to Barnyard? Regardless there was a problem with the Ui in that no one could see their ammo count in the top right corner, the space bar range and target type feature didn't work and nothing showed up on the map.
Also I think barnyard has a setting where you can alter the number of enemies that spawn. while I love a good fight i think there might be a few too many. Last night I counted thirty seven enemy units including armour spawning from two locations. Maybe we could try the 'normal' setting and see how that works out?

Sounds like the difficulty level was set too high, rather than a map/engine bug.

That's a good point.
And if so the general consensus was we didn't like it and moved to Barnyard. Half a dozen players does not make a consensus but I think it might be pushing the concept of 'challenging' beyond our skill level :)
