Dead Men Raiding got onto the scoreboard in the first week raiding in the new Firelands raid content with a swift mastery of the spider, Beth'tilac and her cunning spiderettes. Six attempts were used to acclimatise to the mechanics of the fight (and for some standing-challenged raiders to learn not to fall!) and on the seventh pull of the first night on Beth'tilac she was defeated and the purple Tier 12 loot was ours. Gratz to all raiders for the very swift kill on this boss.

Next up is Shannox. DMR had 7 exploratory pulls tonight to see how the mechanics operated and worked up a pretty solid strategy with everything going nicely until the raid leader blew a P2 transition call (oops!). Shannox knows he has limited time left as when the reset comes, he dies on our first raid night next week!

Gratz to all in DMR for a fine first week's raid efforts - it's just a damn shame Blizzard let us waste two of our three raid nights on a boss that was bugged. Ah well, next reset Rhyolith dies too!

damn work for making me miss the first kill in Firelands :ranting2: on the other hand I guess I should say nice work all :D

anyways, positive aspect is, that a certain fellow dps feral druid wrote a nice and clear "how-to-do-aunt-beth" on another thread.
every melee raider in dmr should read that!
