Title: Samsung SH-S223C 22x Internal DVD±R/RW SATA Drive - Black Wont read PC DVD Rom

it wont read a brand new PC DVD ROM of football manager 20011.

Driver is up to date for the disc drive, theres no problems on the device manager so not sure if its a case of the disc being faulty or the cd drive? ( but this is the 2nd brand new disc of football manager 2011)


I Tried another DVD Rom and works fine (bf2 DVD ROM - Game already installed)


any ideas?

Some game DVDs have copy protection that certain drives just don't like, could be this.

i managed to install it after putting the game disc in the drive loads of times before it worked, but installed and runs off steam not cd now

I was going to say, it's a steamworks game so just type the serial into steam rather than messing around with the disk.
