This is really annoying. Some of the textures keep flickering. It's really bad on Heavy Metal where large muddy patches on the grass for example will keep appearing and then disappearing.
I have now bought the PS3 version for comparison and it doesn't happen on that.
I'm assuming this isn't a known problem then? What might I try to fix it?
You wont get problems with games on consoles the majority of the time (fall out new vegas the acception as it was buggy!) but anyway, Do you have the minimum system requirements to run BC:2 A Stupied question i know coz ive seen you on it, but i managed to play it for a while without the minimum requirements , you can test your pc via -> http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/ -> choose the game you wanna check if u can run and hey presto! will tell you.
If you can run BC:2 then try running it on the lowest graphic setting and see what happens
Also im not sure if you can turn down texture levels in bc:2 ?
I still get the problem on lowest resolution.
I've now Googled "Bad Company 2 Texture Flickering" and it seems to be a very common problem. It seems to be an ATI problem (I have a 6790).

In fact there are 100s of youtube vids on this problem I see now.
Yea, I get the same thing happen, sometimes the whole sky will do it for me, just ignore it & carry on, welcome to pc gamimg.
Have you tried contacting EA About it
i googled "how to solve texture flickering in bad company 2 " and came up with loads of results dont know if u want to try any of them or contact EA first??
